President Park, Watthana Khwaeng

The staff were very accomodating and friendly. The room was very clean and spacious.

People who gave this place a bad review were probably expecting a five-star experience. It is not a 5-star place, but it is MORE than adequate for the price. Sure, it is a bit of a walk to the skytrain, but if you are in reasonably good shape, you can do it AND make friends along the way!! The seafood restaurant up the street is a MUST - a bit expensive, but delicious!!! The free breakfast buffet ( if you book online, I think ) is very good - whoever said it was poor was probably expecting Crepes or Filet Mignon. The rooms were clean, the staff was professional and courteous. I liked it because it was AWAY from the hustle, yet still close to the Emporium and the Skytrain. Persoanlly, I think 5-star hotels are a WASTE of money - a bed is a bed and breakfast is breakfast. With all the money I saved, I bought lots of stuff from the Jim Thompson store!!! Being the CFO for a company, I KNOW the value of a dollar and would STRONGLY recommend this hotel/serviced apartments to ANYONE - you will get an excellent return on your investment and you can buy more things and see more places with the money you save!!!!!

The hotel was generally clean (except the sofa and there was a strange smell in the desk). The staff was friendly and helpful. It is a bit far from Sukhumvit road, but there is a free tuk-tuk available to take you there. The room was very nice for the price.

The location is not so bad, although some taxi and tuk-tuk driver refused to take us, still we manage to go back and forth. The room is very clean, the breakfast was nice, and service wise I find it cool,complete amenities inside the room, like gas burner,spoon and fork, cabinet, microwave oven, tv etc. although we were not able to use it due to time constraint. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and stay again if I will be going back to bangkok.

The President Park is a very nice, clean, comfortable, well run hotel with very good customer service. It's similar to a Radisson or Hilton in the U.S. Taxis are nearly always available outside the door. There are stores, restaurants and coffee shops all within a block. If you're interested, the President Park is "girl-friendly." It was well worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone.
