The Phillips Club at Lincoln Square, New York

Good place to stay! My favorite in this area for sure. Staff was kind. Ended up getting this hotel pretty cheap at SweetHotelDeals. Net

I have never had a bad experience in a luxury hotel and in this hotel I had several hostile experiences in a 3 day period. On one occasion when I asked the doorman to get me a taxi he pointed outside and told me to get one myself. On another occasion the porter refused to move my luggage until it was zipped to his satisfaction and when we reached my room he yelled at me for not having my key. And on yet another occasion the sofa bed was unmade for my children one evening and there were no sheets or pillows available in the room. When I called downstairs I was admonished for not having informed them earlier to make the bed and I had to go downstairs and wait 30 minutes for someone to get sheets so that I could make the bed myself. The worst part of this experience was that the manager Alan called me and was nice and then did absolutely nothing to correct the experience. I even posted a review on YELP which he had "filtered" because he didn't like the content. I am determined now to write a negative review of this hotel on every single site I can find. Do not stay here. You will be treated horribly and the manager will not care.

We had been staying in the Upper East Side for over 10 years when my husband, after hearing such wonderful things for so long about the Phillips Club finally made a visit and began his campaign to convince me to cross the park. It was the happiest decision we’ve made. The building is wonderful the apartments are spacious and bright the people are kind and attentive...but the real star…is the neighborhood. Across the street from Juilliard and a block from the Lincoln center, there is always something interesting and unique going on. Directly across the street is Daniels Boulud’s, Bar Boulud, Fiorello’s Cafe and Sushi a-go-go all with outside seating along with many other wonderful restaurants as well. A large movie theater is down the street along with a huge Barns and Nobles bookstore. It is amazing that I should be the one to write this but with all it has to offer, it manages to maintain an intimate neighborhood quality.

I LOVED the set up and service! IT WAS GREAT! i really likeed how close it was to everythin and how it was right by the arts school! I would go backa any day!

i just finished a weeks stay at the phillips club and couldn't be happier. everything was perfection. i've been here many times before and it never disappoints. the staff goes above and beyond the call of duty. whatever i asked for, it was in my room in minutes. i can't say enough about the Phillips club except to say it's my home away from home.

My son and I stayed here for a week while in New York. Location couldn't be better. Just yards from the subway, Lincoln Center. A few blocks from Central Park. Large apartment, clean and friendly staff.
