Pelican Bay at Lucaya, Lucaya

I had the opportunity to visit the island with my best friend. This was our first time in the Bahamas and the experience was magnificient. The appearance of the hotel both inside and outside was great. For the most part the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the view was priceless. Every morning we woke up to a beautiful view overlooking the water. We could not have desired a greater location of the hotel it was in the heart of everything you could desire. If you do not drive, you have all of the local stores, restaurants and boat trips at your fingertips. I would stay at this hotel again.

Hotel is nice. Great location, a short walk to all the restaurants and shops. Our room was pool-side which was really convenient. Room was just an average room but was comfortable enough. Restaurant/bar had pretty good food and drinks and was steps away from the pool. Staff was friendly and helpful and honest. Left our camera on a cruise and had it returned to us that day by a staff member which says a lot. Pool was cold but so was every pool on the island in January. Overall great stay, relaxing and safe.

Great Place!!! Staff was terrific. Airlines lost our luggage and staff immediately gave is t-short, hats, beach bag, toiletries etc. could not do enough for us. upgraded us to a suite. fantastic!!! eat at pisces in the market.

Took a deal on Expedia to spend 3 nights here. Checked out this hotel and got good reviews, but we were not prepared for the pleasant surprise we got! The staff was pleasant and helpful, the place was clean, the pools immaculate. The only issue is that they could upgrade their bedding, but it was all ok. The location is perfect-harbor on three sides, walking distance to the marketplace and other activities. The hotel even arranged transport to and from the airport (ask for Adrian-he's the best!) Don't bother to pay for wireless Internet-it's free in the business center. They have fresh fruit available, and the breakfast was about what you would expect for a continental breakfast. I can't wait to go back!

My boyfriend and I went to Pelican Bay in October of 2006 for vacation and it was the best time ever. Hotel was great, friendly people, and helpful(airline lost my luggage and the staff was great). Hotel room was clean,very nice,poolside view with view of marina also.The bar outside by the pool was wonderful & good food. Overall it was a Great time,Great place. Port Lucaya is a great time. It was so wonderful were planning a return vist this year (07)!!!!!!

I had a wonderful stay until I got home. I made 5 phone calls of less than f minutes and was charged 190.00 when I got home. This is no way to treat a guest who has paid over 350.00 a night to stay. While I loved the proximity to UNEXSO Never again. Are dive club had over 20 people staying here. This was a most disturbing end to a Great vacation

We had a great time here. Rooms were great. View was great. Walk to the market place, deep sea fishing, snorkel boats, and the Dolphin adventure next door was great

Hotel is walking distance to the best attactions of Port Lucaya. Hotel staff gave A+ service, and the room had a wonderful view of the canal! Very relaxing!

Great place! Friendly staff, we had our wedding there and Marva and her staff was wonderful. Very accommodating!! I will definitely recommend. The rooms were very nice. Lucaya is a great place for couples.

This is the place I could live forever!! The hotel was incredible. The view from the room was great but the room itself was the cleanest and plush that I have ever been in! This is truly a dream vacation spot!! I tell everyone to stay here and you won't be sorry. I have never stayed at a place were the staff was as kind and helpful as they are! Truly a great time "I WILL BE BACK!"
