Very nice

I liked the lobby area, very comfortable and welcoming. I like sitting there after work and seeing the group of local ladies who meet up for socializing - it seems to be a local favorite. The happy hour includes hors d'oeuvres between 7 and 9pm and is very nice. The rooms are comfortable and usually affording great views. Room bathrooms are very nice. The breakfast buffet is very good though the wait staff a little slow. The location may be towards the edge of town but it is right next door to a supermarket and one of the nicest malls in town, Parque Arauco, with ATM machines, plenty of shops and restaurants (incl. a Starbucks). The gym, for a hotel, is quite nice and you do not feel you are in an extra room in the basement. The staff is very courteous and attentive. I've stayed there twice for business in the last month and plan to continue to return

Fabulous Hotel

We loved this hotel. The staff are warm and friendly and they remember your name. The concierge was incredibly helpful and planned most of our days here for us. We stayed for a week then left for Patagonia and Easter Island and returned for another week. All the staff remmbered our names and were truly happy to have us back. Location is fabulous, within walking distance of shopping and dining. No need to take a cab to a good restaurant (which is important since the cab drivers are thieves). I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Santiago.

I have stayed many times in the Marriott Santiago I find the staff not only to be friendly but curteous, knowledgeable, helpful, they remember your name if you are a frequent visitor on and on. Too many positives to list. the Hotel is beautiful and kept clean and in good functioning condition. There is a very pretty park nearby and the Marriott is close to good restaurants and shopping. I give them the highest ranking because they deserve it!

Nicest Marriott I've stayed

I visited this hotel to attend a Regional Business Function. I liked the overall experience. The location is superb being walking distance from a very nice, modern, shopping mall. The hotel lobby bar is located in a huge room which is hard to describe with words. It is like a huge opera room. Best check website for photos. There is free wireless in Bar area, but the rooms have hardwired Internet. The food provided by hotel for event was very good.

Cant wait to go back

Love it so much. I find it not quite up to standards with the Sheraton San Cristobal. It is really close to the shopping market and the local mall. IT has great service and they DO speak english. I reccomend it today.

A beautiful place with friendly helpful staff

The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food in the restaraunts was phenomenal! I especially enjoyed the atmosphere and architecture. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will stay here again when I return to Santiago!

One of the best!

It is a beautiful hotel with excellent ammenities. Service is excellent, Chileans are very educated, learned and amicable. I definitely would recommend Santiago Marriott, is one of the best hotels of its kind. Do not miss The Grill Restaurant, food is tops.
