Beware!! Charged room twice, two different rates!
1. I paid for the room online and paid $90.71 total...........but if you walk in and ask for a room it's $68.19 total!!! When I asked about this the clerk obviously lying tried to cover and say "oh, I had the wrong room".....but that's not true, because....
2. They charged me twice for the room.....two different prices! and it took forever to get a credit!
3. When we were at the counter checking in, another customer came to the desk and demanded another room because the heater didn't work in the room she was in. She spent the 1st night without heat and the temperature was unusally cold at 38*F
They charged a total of $90.71 for a King size studio when I booked online for an out of town guest. When my guest tried to check in, I had to go down there and give my credit card so they could charge me an additional $100 for a refundable damage deposit, which I was told would be credited back to my card on check out.. The next day when my guest checked out and brought me the receipt, it showed the ($100.00) paid, less $61.99 for the room, and $6.20 for City Room Tax, which left ($31.81). I called them immediately and said "It looks like you're charging me twice for the room...I already paid online, the $100 was for a deposit." The clerk assured me, and even talked to her supervisor and came back to say the credit of $100 was already done. I checked online banking and no credit, but decided to give it a day or so because of the weekend. Tuesday = still no credit, called & spoke with another clerk who put me on hold & talked to her manager & came back to say it was taken care of. What does that mean!?! "You mean you just credited it now?" ... "yeah" she says. Suffice it to say, it took several more phone calls to finally obtain two seperate credits....one for the $31.81 ($100 deposit less the room charge) and $68.19 (cost of the room)...... they tried to charge me twice, and I knew it from the beginning, but they could not understand what I was trying to say. At one point, the clerk said "we released the funds to your bank, you just have to call them and have them release it to you." She said this more than once! When checking with the bank for the credit, I told the teller this and she just laughed, even harder than me!
I would not even recommend this to my worst enemy!
