Over-designed but a fair value and great location

I've stayed at this hotel 4 times in the last 6 months as a business traveler.
The room is fairly small and the desk chair is ridiculously uncomfortable - turn the desk toward the bed to get useful work done. They have high-speed internet but it can be problematic from some rooms, the front desk said they were hoping to address that problem with a new wireless equipment provider in 2005. The TV is tiny - not sure how it compares to other london hotels, but it is defintiely small by international standards. There is a PAL DVD/CD player in the room. Restaurants at the hotel are good quality and very trendy but much better fare up the Lane at a number of restaurants. Concierge is first rate but limited hours and more suited to tourists than business. Staff is very courteous, sharp, and professional. Best part of this hotel is the location, easy walk to all theatres, evening entertainment, Leicster Sq.and Picadilly Circus areas and tube stations.
Recommendation: If you ask for the handicapped room it is larger with more desk space and larger bathroom. They have one on each floor and they are often unoccupied according to desk staff.
