Super 8 Motel Marion, Marion

This hotel was noisy...people coming and going all night long. Pulling up to the lobby, coming inside for a few minutes and then pulling away. There were squealing tires, pounding on walls and shady looking people hanging out in the lobby. The rooms were very outdated and a little run down looking. It did appear they had been cleaned. Our AC did not work the first night and the desk clerk could not move us to another room. We HAD to stay a second night and fortunately we were moved to a room with a working AC unit. It is not likely I would ever stay here again. We were in town for an event at the state wildlife reservation, I am very frustrated the non profit organization that paid for our room was charged!! In my opinion it was a rip off! Our mattress the second night was worse than sleeping on the ground! The first night we were concerned with our safety!
