We only stayed at this location one night. Professional reservation clerk on the phone. VERY comfortable beds and pillows! Everything else as expected for a hotel in this market/price range- clean, quiet; friendly check-in staff person. Location right next to go-cart/mini-golf, so probably don't expect to nap in the afternoon, but quiet at night. Great value - rate about 30% less than 5 other similar hotels checked in area. Few miles from downtown TC, so expect about a 5 minute drive.

This motel is one of the best we have stayed in. The Traverse City location was so nice that we would stay at other motels in this chain.

We recently spent four nights at the Americinn in Traverse City. It was exceptionally clean. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. The pool area was maintained and well stocked with towels. Many guests enjoyed the continental breakfast each morning. The tables were quickly cleaned and the food items refilled as needed. The walk along the bay to nearby restaurants and other businesses was pleasant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Americinn.

The rates were great and included the best 'continental breakfast' EVER. Who ever heard of waffles and sausage biscuits and gravy for fee? The rooms were clean, the staff was exceptionally nice during all of our requests--and we had a few. The pool was well-tended and a great temperature. There was always someone at the front desk whenever we needed them. I highly recommend this hotel and we will most certainly stay there again. It was very close to several of our stops and there was always adequate parking. Next time, we think we will even try one of the several suites available!!

We went to Americinn with our softball group two years and had a horrible time with the manager, Nick. He was rude. We booked our rooms as a group, and it was a hassle to make sure our rooms were grouped somewhat close. We added an extra nights stay, and had to pack up our items and check out so we could be with the rest of the team the next night. Hotel was clean, and other staff memebers were friendlier. This year we will gladly pay a little extra and go somewhere else we are welcomed.

Our stay was very nice from the beginning. We were greeted by what I found out later to be the manager (Nick). He was helpful in not only getting us in our room, but also provided several maps and information about the town. He was very pleasant and eager to help throughout. The room was quite comfortable, with large easy to open windows for when the weather is nice. When it is less than nice, the room has an independent heating and cooling unit (it was beautiful for our entire stay). The cleaning staff included handwritten notes after each cleaning (hoping that we were enjoying our stay). Although this is likely hotel policy, it is still a thoughtful one. In addition, the hotel's pool and hot tub are in a large open area with vaulted ceilings. Hotelwide wireless internet is also offered (I was able to use Skype for calls). The location is quite convenient. It is only blocks away from the state park and beach with several restaurants in walking distance. The "downtown" area is only three miles away , and the hotel itself is across the street from the bay. Located about half a block from the hotel is also an amusement park of sorts offering miniature golf, car racing, etc.; seemingly convenient for families. The only drawback to the location was that it did not have direct beach access. One note however: The manager, Nick, stated that the advertised 15% discount offered by seven area restaurants was a promotion that ended last winter. He explained that some websites were still erroneously advertising this information. Overall, the hotel offered good service, convenient location, and comfortable rooms. We will likely book there during out next stay. Happy trails.

The Americinn is a comfortable getaway on the edge of busy Traverse City. The lobby reminds you of a cozy northern Michigan ski lodge. The fireplace, the breakfast area, the great pool and spa. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Occasionally you may hear the pitter patter of little feets running up and down the hall but thats no big deal. The breakfast bar is a great way to start the day and be sure to try the waffles. The motel is located next to Little Caesar's and in season, a great mini golf course and a city wide, paved, walking path. You'll really love this place. I have stayed here many times. Great place, great price. I thank you.
