Was OK, but NOT Impressed at ALL!!!
Recently stayed at Wingate Harbison and read all reviews at Hotel.com, and elsewhere, were overall ok. First room checked into had hair all over bathroom floor and ants crawling on bed, and no air. When staff called up to see how room was we were told that they were sugar ant. And offered to move us to room next door which had air and no noticed ants, but was very dirty. The bedspread had not been washed and had food on it, there weren't nearly enough bath linens, the glass cups in bathroom were not cleaned and appeared to be only wiped clean with a towel from previous residents. The coffe cups were the same, with towel remains on the inside, coffes grounds at bottom of one of them, there was a spoon with cheerios in the air unit with mold growing everywhere apprarently from spilled milk. There were stains all over the furniture and bed skirts, a old chicken nugget behind the television dresser, no light bulbs in a few of the lights, and advertised free internet is not free, if you use the television internet it costs $9.95, very misleading. The most horrible part of the stay were the beds we were in room 307 and the beds were absolutely horrible. Springs could be felt no matter how you laid on them. Was schedule for a two nights stay and cut it to one. Main reason for hotel was for rest and relaxtion. Wish we had book the Hyatt Place right down the road. The only plus was the breakfast, was reasonably good, and lasted until 10 am which allowed you to sleep in a little, however that didn't happen due to poor beds. Staff were friendly and helpful with directions. Definitely not what was expected by a Wyndham hotel, not impressed at all. Really wished the room was cleaner and beds were not so horrible. Will definitely be writing the corporate office, once charges clear for stay. Overall an ok hotel to stay at if you are only going to sleep and shower and are not too particular about cleanliness and comfort.
