Larkspur Landing SFO Airport, An All-Suite Hotel, South San Francisco

LIKES: loation was in close vicinity to malls, resturants. Bedding and linen were good. The kitchenette is well enough stocked and available for full use. Good draw curtins, both light dimming and room darkening were good. Good cookies. DISLIKES:NOISEY! Rooms are refurbished lower grade hotel materials and do not provide the sound buffeting I exprienced else where. Breakfast is continental; cartons of milk and OJ were FROZEN each time I reached for one! Lackluster food but sufficient. OUT OF COFFEE two nights in a row (around & after dinner time). Room had coffee maker thankfully! One weird staff member at the desk gave me the creeps.

We checked in around 8pm and thought we might of been bumped cause of the late check-in but we were wrong! We actually got upgraded! Went into our room and it was very comfortable temperature wise. And I loved the kitchen in the rooms! Great place for familys! Loved it! Will go back again!!!

There was some confusion with reservations when we arrived even though I had faxed the rooming list. They had us (group of 11) arriving the night before so appearantly our rooms were not available. Mistakes happen. Mike did a super job very late at night of finding us rooms. While we were waiting another lady came to check in and had the same problem. It took some time to place everyone in a NS room (smoking rooms in CA?) and after several false starts finally got everyone settled in around 11 pm. Breakfast area is very small but a decent enough variety. Our bed was missing the pillow top (?) I think it must have gone to a room that needed it for the pull out sofa, so the bed was hard as a rock. But others in our group raved about how comfortable the bed was. We stayed 2 nights. Hotel was clean, staff was wonderful. Stuff happens sometimes.....we stayed at other Larkspurs on this trip and were amazed at how well they all take care of you.

Thie is certainly not your typical airport hotel. The staff and amenities were outstanding. The bed and bedding were luxurious. Even the warm cookies and cold lemonade in the evening was way above expectations. I am only sorry that I had but one night to stay here. It was the best sleep I have had in months. Whenever I am near one of their hotels you can bet I will stay there. They have created a loyal customer.

So much to see in the SF area, at the end of the day you're ready for a good night's rest. The bed was absolutely heavenly, as others have commented - high quality bedding, sooooo comfortable. Wish I knew what they use so I could duplicate at home. :c) Room was nicely decorated and the kitchenette was great. My one "complaint" would be that the bath (right next to the kitchenette) should have an exhaust fan - ours didn't. The main lobby area is not spacious, but nice enough. Continental breakfast is a bit limited but offers some healthy choices. Rooms have internet hookups but if you don't have a laptop there are two computers in the lobby area w/free internet access. May have to wait though, depending on time of day. The staff was absolutely SUPER. Only a minute or so off the highway, so very convenient if you plan to drive around the SF area. This is not a resort hotel with breathtaking views, but a place to use as a nightly pitstop to re-energize for another day of sightseeing. It's clean and quiet and a great value for the money. And oh, that bed!!! Seriously. ;c) Will DEFINITELY stay there again if we return to SF.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful. It's a great value for all the service you get. The beds are comfortable and the rooms were clean and nicely decorated.

I am from LA and i have never been to SF. The area of this hotel was perfect. The hotel itself was fabulous!!! The customer service was the best ever! The rooms were spacious and very clean. I recommend this hotel to anyone!

Larkspur Landing has everything a traveler needs: clean kitchen, comfy bed, super self-serve breakfast, friendly staff, and even free laundry!! I will stay there every time I am in the area!!

The hotel was quiet, clean, comfortable and a pleasant place to stay. The linens are well above average quality. The buffet breakfast is a good value, free. We would use this hotel again without hesitation.
