Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour prev Quay Grand Suites, Sydney

We booked via wotif for our honeymoon and the place was a complete anti climax. I noted on the booking form that we were honeymooning and not so much as a congratulations when booking in! I specified a harbour view when booking and we were put on the 5th floor farthest from the bridge, so without leaning out (with over half your torso) over the balcony you couldn't even see most of the harbour bridge. EG no attempt to upgrade. Not even a fruit bowl in the room! Salt into the wound - I rang a few days ahead of the wedding to see if we could check just our bags in early and confirm the room given we were getting married earlier that day, and I was advised this wouldn't be an issue. The morning of the wedding however, I received a call to say there was previously a patron in the suite we had booked that was ill; but fortunately for us, he had vacated so the room was available???? THEN!!! on the second night of our stay the TV broke, but despite mentioning this on check out we were still hit with the $30 a day car parking fee on top of what I consider an expensive hotel (given the competition) so I would STRONGLY suggest you reconsider the hotel. Its was all VERY! anti climatic. So much promise (a location that is arguably second to none) but really... the report reads - could do considerably better. PS - the pool was also out of action for the duration of our stay.

This place was amazing. The best location and the best service I have ever received within a hotel. I felt like i was living the high life! From the moment i was reaching the front entrance- no doubt concierge already had my bags in their hands. I will continue to go back to Quay Grand Suites. Deffinalety worth it!! The food was great and the great package we got was the Grand Night Harbour - Unreal! You must try this hotel out! Cheers
