Parking Procedures
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/15/08
I enjoyed my stay at the Atlantic Palace however, the parking procedures at check in was very confusing. I was told that I had to park car before checking in and that I could leave luggage with bellhop and it would be delivered to my room - all of this before getting a room. Had to get parking ticket, park car, then check in. After all of this I requested my luggage and waited over 90 minutes. I came down stairs and requested my luggage and wanted to borrow the dolly but was told that only employees could use it for safety reasons. I went in the luggage room and pointed out my luggage and took it took my room myself. Because I was there a week, I requested extra trash bags because housekeeping had promised twice to clean room but never made it. The suite was beautiful and everything was clean and neat. The kitchen was well equipped and the view was perfect. I hope that the check in parking situation improves because it gives the wrong impression about the entire Atlantic Palace establishment.

Never go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/25/08
The only thing that was good was that this hotel is CHEAP compared to all the other casinos and it is right on the boardwalk. First of all, I asked for a late check-in and requested a roll-away bed. When we went to the room, there was only a bed and a sofa and we paid for a bed and a pull-out sofa. Called the front desk and they said there was nothing that they could do about it because the hotel was completely booked. They then said that I never paid for the third person and I brought my confirmation with me that I did pay extra. We were finally switched to a room that we were supposed to have but after having to argue with the front desk for 20 minutes. I will not go back and do not recommend this hotel...oh yeah and you will be waiting forever for an elevator!

We couldn't believe it!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/19/08
My husband and I and his brother and wife had rented a suite from a Friday to Sunday as an early Valentine's gift. After we checked in and payed almost $600, we went up to our room on the 29th floor. In our suite, the living room there was a 19 inch TV which we were all surprised and alittle disappointed. Also, there was no free HBO. We have stayed in many different hotels over the years and when you get a standard room usually 9 out of 10 there is always at least a 27in TV for you to watch. VERY disappointed!! Then , not to mention in the bedroom there was a 13in TV. OK. On Saturday we had gone to the outlets and came back around 3 hours later and the beds weren't made or any clean towels given. I personally had to go down to check in to ask questions. Apparently they were short handed. So, I asked for a few clean towels. Woman said,"no problem. I'have her drop some off. And she will be in later to clean but you can't be there." OK. We had plans to go to a comedy show anyway. Well, we came in at around 2am and maid NEVER came. For all the money we had put out, not satisfying. Although at check out time, I mentioned to someone about maid never coming, we reimburst $50. I don't think any of us will stay again or recommend this place to anyone.

Great Value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/28/08
Great value for such a great location. I took my family of four and had a wonderful family stay. The arcade room was a delight for the kids and I think that they may of had a better time then my wife and I did. The environment was safe and at such an unbeatable price, we will be returning for our next vacation. Unfortunately we weren't able to used the pool but we will be back in the summer. PS. the coffee isn't all that good but the beds were comfortable.

We're There for Mid-Winter Recess
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/26/08
We didn't want to spend the Christmas Break with the kids at home so we decided to head for Atlantic City. I mentioned this to my brother and he recommended the Atlantic Palace. We had a great time. The Pool and the Game Room were great diversions for the kids who to my surprise, really enjoyed the stay. The accommodations were great with so many amenities. The room was clean and comfortable and the food was delicious. We were just a stone's throw from the casinos so we were able to walk when we wanted to go to one. We will be heading back come February and Spring Break from school.

Clean, Convenient & Affordable
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/26/08
When we were looking for a place to stay in AC, I, like many others tried to research some non-casino hotels. When I came across the Atlantic Palace, some reviews were positive, some were negative. Realizing that you cannot please all the people all of the time I decided to call. I told the desk person that I was concerned about some of the reviews. She began to explain that there are a few hotels that rent rooms in that same building. She went on to say that her particular company was closed down from late spring until September 2007 and if I looked at the dates of some of these postings I would see that they were in the summer months. I thought I would give it a try, I did and came away more than pleased. When I am in the AC area, most of my time is spent out of the hotel room, I look for cleanliness and accomodating people, that is what I found at this establishment, which by the way is not the grand desk you see when you go to check in. This office is located on the ground floor towards the boardwalk. So when making a reservation, don't be afraid to ask the question about these postings you may read, you might turn out to be pleasantly surprised.

Don't be Confused
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/24/08
Being a frequent guest at the Atlantic Palace Suites Hotel, AC, NJ, it confuses me when I read some of these postings. If you are in a room where you say all of the amenties do not work, why would you stay in that room and not go to the desk to have your room changed. My own experience in staying at this hotel for the last 10 years is always pleasant and well worth the trip. Many people are not aware that there are three separate hotels within that building, unfortunately for the Suites, when people post they generally use the name that is on the building which is "Atlantic Palace". At least be fair and know the exact name of the hotel you are staying at and post accordingly.

Great Place To Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/23/08
Recently visited Atlantic Palace Suites in Atlantic City, NJ. Rooms were clean, desk was very pleasant. The location and the view is just spectacular and the rates affordable. Walking distance to every casino on the Boardwalk, park the car and forget about it. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family, planning another trip back in the Spring.

Look around other hotels before staying at Atlantic Palace
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/21/08
I just recently stayed at Atlantic Palace and apart from being well located (which is the only good thing about it) it was not what i expected from a hotel..The room was clean, the kitchenette was good however nothing in the room worked; the hairdryer, tv control, coffee maker, fridge..very disappointed with Atlantic Palace to be honest. To top off a very dissatisfying hotel stay the bed was right next to the heater which was so noisey!!! It was like listening to a generator all night..did not get much sleep! So after little sleep, the water pressure in the shower was so hard that it hurt!! Pay the extra money and stay somewhere else...My recommendation is to shop around before choosing to stay at Atlantic Palace!!
