Don't believe the Days Inn guarantee
For many trips to the area I stayed in Days Inn Merrimack. There always seemed to be a problem, such as needed to run the water for a while before it became clear or having clogged toilets. Days Inn also automatically tacks on charges for phone use and safe use, which were not mentioned in the reservation. But the following ended it for me.
On my last visit management made a mistake and entered my room number incorrectly in its computer. Hence, I had no maid service. I complained and management said the problem was fixed. But, the problem wasn't fixed and the room was rented to a second guess, who woke me up that night trying to get in. Again, no maid service. Another complaint.
The Days Inn guarantee is to fix a problem or reduce your bill. I've sent letters but Days Inn Merrimack just stonewalls me. Corporate Days Inn says it's not its policy to interfere with the local owner. Everyone makes mistakes, but failure to live up to its word is not forgivable.
