We will not be back.
By Ron Mcallister, 2/15/12
I called to see if there were 2 rooms available, they said the rooms were available and they included Continental Breakfast. I said that I would take the rooms. When I checked in they told us there would be a Continental Breakfast. Later they said that there was NO Continental Breakfast!!!!!! The coffee pot was dirty. A dirty wash cloth was in the rack with the clean wash cloths. The tub drain was very slow. The hot water valves would stick open. The floors were dirty. The hair dryer caught fire.

Splendid.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/2/11
As a particapant in the Civil War, I found it very festive. The room looked like it had been through a civil war, with the beds messy and bathrooms dirty and unclean, poor room service and little or no entertainment. I LOVED IT.

Needs A Lot Of Work...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/19/11
Door lock loose, hard to open. Lamp didn't work. All lamp shades torn. Whirpool, coffee pot, bathroom heat lamp didn't work. Curled edge of rug caused me to trip. Water only luke warm. Toilet emptied very slowly. Needs painting. Very over-priced for quality of room.NEVER AGAIN!

Very comfortable place to stay!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/28/11
We travel alot for my husbands work. We always look forward to the jobs he does is this area, as we once again can stay at Billie Creek Inn. We have been coming here for well over 10 years now. The motel staff is always friendly. We travel with our dog..Molly. The owners make sure we have a room that is convenient for us to get Molly "out" for her walks. There is a great place for her to run and get some exercise next to the motel. Our room is clean, with mirco/frigs, new bed spreads and curtains and the pool is refreshing! The setting of the motel is wonderful! Across the road is Billie Creek Village, which we love! The motel is close to the town "square" and good places to eat and shop. The owners make our visit seem less like work and more like a visit with family! We can't wait til our return in 2012!

Happy to stay, looking forward to next year
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/16/10
Another year at the Covered Bridge Festival and also at Billie Creek Inn. This being our 5th year, we have always stayed at the Billie Creek Inn and never had any problems. The rooms were well kept, the owners, their front desk personal and even the girls who maintain the rooms were incredibly friendly, helpful and out-going. We have always felt confident that if we had an issue it would be taken care of by the management. Smoking was allowed in certain rooms so if you stayed in or around those rooms you could smell smoke, but that's normal. The continental breakfast was good, something to get you going, but when attending a festival we look forward to the food available there. I had surgery this year so I called to confirm what the cancellation policy was, they said 30 days. I felt this was fair being it was a busy time of the year. When we travel we always ask questions like cancellation policy , price and verifying our reservations even the day before we leave, plus a courtesy call to them if we're checking in late. We did book our reservation for our 2011 and are looking forward to our stay! Ron & Laura

You get what you pay for
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/7/10
It was an inexpensive hotel room. Though when making reservations the quote was different than when I arrived, and I asked her 3 times if the price was accurate and didn't want any surprises...I did. Oh well. Our room wasn't the dirtiest place I've stayed, but again it was an inexpensive motel. If I had to pay the higher prices during special events, I wouldn't be too pleased. The bathroom was clean, the beds were comfortable, the desk clerks were pleasant and nice, the furniture and carpets had seen better days. In fact the carpeting was pretty disgusting and I threw towels down so my feet wouldn't touch the carpet. The bedspreads were high end, which surprised us. But as far as housekeeping in general (not including bath) was not the greatest. We found cereal, kleenex, and bottle caps on the floor. The coffee pot had scum as if it was only rinsed out instead of washed . Would I stay there again? Only if I had to.

cant agree on price
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/15/10
When I made my reservation the girl on the phone gave me one price and when I checked in they told me another price. When I told manager about this problem he said he would credit my card the difference. This never happened. The night desk clerk said she didnt have any change for the vending machines and everything in the vending machines was old and stale. Room was clean and well kept. Bed was very hard. Price is too high for location but they can charge whatever they want they have you trapped when there isnt another hotel around and you need one in that area. They are taking advantage of that fact. I would only stay again if I had to.

YUCK
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/8/09
The Billy Creek Inn in known for its Civil War Days. The entire hotel looks like it's been through a civil war. Rooms, hallways, elevator, and pool were very dirty. The continental breakfast was a joke.
