Stay Lodge, Florence

i have been here for 3 years. new management has cleaned this place up. the house keepers are great. they can come in my room any time they want to they do knock first if no ans they will then come in. yes sometimes the new manager is a little rude when needed. and so are some of the guest. where else can you go for under 900.00 a month and no other bills to pay?

A hotel is a hotel not apt's staff have the right to enter rooms of any hotel room when needed. The entire staff of this hotel has worked hard to improve the quality and standards of the hotel in Florence, Ky. They try to provide good customer service from the front desk to the housekeepers. There are guests that have had a hard time dealing with the adjusted changes because they were used to how things were some of us guests have welcomed the changes since the changes have been for the betterment of us guests. Giving the staff a hard time when they are trying to make this a better place to live makes me wonder how some guests are living in there room. I have lived here for over 4 years and I am glad to see these changes occur. I didn't like how the prior mgmt didn't care about anything and for me it is a welcomed change. I can't afford to live any where else and I have made this my home and I am pleased with what I see. I have listened to complaints in the guest laundry room and have shared my thoughts with guests that haven't been here as long as I have and when I explain how it was and how it is they have a better understanding of this location and then are more accepting of the changes. They are trying to make it a cleaner and safer place to live and as long term guests we should all be pleased.

It seems this place is nasty in every city. The one in Montgomery on Chestnut Street (at the Ann Street exit off of I85) is a roach motel with nothing but crack heads and dopies hanging around it pounding on the doors wanting drugs and wanting to sell drugs. The carpet in the rooms is so nasty you will not want to walk on it with your shoes on. The beds are nasty, stink and are damp because the musky moist air and mold is unbearable. The office person, Wanda Snipes, is very rude. They have a NO REFUND policy so please don't pay to stay here cause you won't get your money back and after you see the room you will rather stay in a cardboard box or sleep under a bridge!!!

We have been living at Stay Lodge for almost 2 years until recently they brought in a new manager and we can't get out of here quick enough. Management comes in without notice or permission. They try to say rent isn't paid even when it is. Several rooms have bed bugs. There is also a mold build up behind the walls in the bathroom and management refuses to do anything about it. The price is good for an extended stay and it is in a good location, they also have housekeeping weekly. It is close to the mall, grocery store and gas station, but keep every receipt if you plan on staying.

i have been at the stay lodge about two years now and i have no problem. and will be here for another two years.if they would just get the internet working right. lol

Would not stay there if the lst place on earth, the front desk people are ryde and spread lies and enter roms without your permission. There is no fitness area unless you go to fitness gym across the road. The only good thing is the housekeeper is friendly.

rooms were very clean, price was great. loved the kitchenette, and the hospitilty was very well kind, i would defentily recomment this place

The rooms were very clean. I was looking for an affordable place to stay and found the Stay Lodge. They had the lowest prices around. The rooms were very nice for a budget hotel. There was a small kithchenette so I was able to save some money by cooking instead of eating out. If you're looking for a nice place to stay that won't strain your budget, I would definately check out the Stay Lodge.

After waking on a Saturday to bugs in the bed, I checked out to learn that no refund is going to be given. $178 for one night is a lot for a well below average hotel. Please save yourself the headache..

My husband stayed here in May 2009. He awoke after his first night stay to bugs in his bed. The hotel would not give us a refund and was very rude to us.
