Loews Philadelphia Hotel, Philadelphia

I officiated a wedding at Loew's Philadelphia Hotel, and I must say the ceremony location was awesome. At the top floor, with huge windows overlooking spectacular scenery of the City and Billy Penn himself, wedding guests were more than pleased to take in the experience. The staff was thoughtful and helpful before and after the wedding ceremony. On a hot day in Philly, there was free lemonade in the lobby.

The staff was great and very helpful. The room was disgusting it looked as if the maids had not touched the carpet. The bathroom toilet was dirty...my son didn't want to use it after he lifted the seat. I called and talked to the manager, he didn't apologize he just wanted to know when should he send someone to clean the bathroom. They came the next day and still didn't vacuum. I will NEVER stay in a Loews Hotel in any city ever again. We have one in Atlanta,GA that's the only reason I stayed in one. The one in Atlanta,GA is nice. I never heard back from the manager.

My second stay at this hotel was worse than my first. We got a free 1 night stay after the fiasco we experienced the first time in July '08. We stayed 3 nights the second time and the staff was just as inept, no turn down 2 nights, no maid on the second day and when I called at 3:30 pm after being out all day was asked if I can you wait till turn down tonight? I said no and she appeared but never came back for the turn down service. Only 1 time did an employee smile and say hello in 4 days of staying at this hotel! Also there was a half dead flower arrangement in my room throughout my whole stay dropping petals and leaves on the floor. They were there till the day I left, the maid must have never vacuumed. To top it off you would think at the rates they charge the maid would leave new soap when there is only a sliver left and an extra roll ot toilet paper,nope. I won't go into details but thank the heavens there were kleenex in the bathroom. I will never ever stay at Loews again. They could give me 10 nights free and I will not return. Stay away unless you like to not be spoken to,spend alot of money for NO service and just be treated like dirt .I would only recommend this nightmare called a hotel to those I cannot stand!

My husband and I were traveling with our dog and wanted a nice place to stay which is usually hard when you're looking for dog friendly hotels. This hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms were a nice size and very clean with excellent amenities. There are fun bars and restaurants all within walking distance - just ask Jonathan V. the concierge, he took the time to put together an itinerary for us and every place he recommended was a blast. We highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful Hotel! I love staying in hotels and am incredibly critical. I did extensive research on several Philly hotels, and my husband and I finally decided on Loews. We stayed from Friday to Sunday. We live in Wilmington, DE and haven't been away form our two little ones in ages. This was a "vacation" for us. We have stayed in Philly on numerous occasions and none of them can hold a candle to the experience we had at Loews. From our first interaction with the valet, to the upgrade upon check-in, to the beautifully appointed room, to the expansive views of the city, to the bellmen, the WONDERFUL concierge Jonathan, to our Danny DeVito sighting in the lobby...And I could go on. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys the hotel experience. Can't WAIT to go back!!

Every year we attend the flower show. It is so nice to stay over night across the street in a room with lovely decor and atmosphere. Also the Sole bar is a great place to kick back and relax!!

It was a great inviroment, good for people all ages. It really made me feel good about myself. Me and my family liked it a lot.

My wife and I stayed at the pet-friendly Loews on New Years Eve and had an awesome stay. We were "Upgraded" to a room on the 32nd floor, which is their top floor. We had a great view, and the continental breakfast was in the club lounge on the 31st floor... Breakfast with a view! Even though it was NYE and the place was hopping, all of the staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely go back again. Only complaint was the hallway noise as people were getting off the elevator.

I have never received the royal treatment as I did from this hotel. From the Bellman to the waitress in the restaurant the service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and attentive to our needs. Food in restaurant for dinner was excellent. Expensive and worth it!! I wouldn't bring a small child, I don't think they would appreciate it. But, you would. I will stay at a Loews whenever possible. They have a great pool and sauna. The views from the hotel are amazing. Perfect location. They are very kid friendly - every time we stay, my kid gets a new toy at the check in. After staying in there once, this is my hotel of choice in Philadelphia
