We had the unfortunate experience of being bumped out of our room at another hotel and were shipped over to this hotel. There were no luggage carts and no one to assist with the luggage. The room was filthy, carpet and upholstery badly stained and torn, mold in the bathroom, and cigarette butts behind the bedside table along with other unmentionables. This was a non-smoking room. The guest room guide stated about their resturant and when breakfast was served there. A long while ago, they had changed the resturant into a bar and the breakfast was on the 7th floor in an equally tatered room. There was no mention of this or the hours. We were asked to leave the room along with another couple as we were there beyond closing hours. How were we to know? The sheet from the other hotel stated that we were to be given two free calls. They would not turn on the phone because I had not put down a credit card. I would have sooner stayed in my car all night. Oh yes, I also killed two little spiders on the bed. Supposedly this was the only room available in all of Minneapolis and ST. Paul.
