Quality Inn Pooler, Pooler

The staff at the Jameson Inn was fantastic! They were very kind, welcoming, and didn't hesitate to help us. One of the staff members even gave us an excellent tip on one of the best places for amazing southern Savannah cooking!(Mrs. Wilke's was delicious!) The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Our stay felt safe, and we had easy access to I-95. We were only about 5 minutes from the airport. The light breakfast was good-there was fresh fruit, waffles, cereal, biscuits&gravy, coffee, milk & juice. Overall, we were very happy with our first visit here! I would definately stay here again.

Made reservations at least two weeks before. Had to change rooms twice, wanted double 1st was king and second room not dusted in months and sheets dirty. We were finally given a room no toilet paper had to ask for wash cloths. Food area dirty.

Stayed here three nights to visit Savannah. It's location is very convenient (a 12 to 15 minute drive) to the downtown area. Hotel is very clean and well maintained. Would stay there again when visiting area. Forgot some clothing when we left and they were shipped to my home address within 3 days by the hotel management. Thanks Adam!

I found the hotel to be fairly priced and very convenient for me. I have friends in Pooler, and I wanted close access to Savannah. The area is quiet. The breakfast included was standard fare, except for a hot waffle iron and cups of waffle mix. I thought that was a very nice touch. The room is nice, with an ironing board and iron provided. My only complaint was the smell that lingered in the room and hallway. It was something of a burned smell that never left. This may have been due to the occasional smoke that Pooler received from the fires burning in southern Gerogia. Otherwise, the room temperature was easily maintained and quiet.

The Jameson Inn is a great place to stay if you are looking for a reasonable rate when visiting Savannah. We have stayed at the Jameson Inn before and had a lovely time. I did realize that on our trip this time...the walls are paper thin! I felt that the hotel had a number of available rooms but it seemed as though everyone was on the same floor. I would have liked to stay somewhere that the noise was not that big of a factor.

Inn was close to the airport, clean, and all personnel were great. Next door to Cracker Barrel restaurant and because we were very late arriving, this was very convenient and got us to bed early after a long flight. I have even considered buying stock in this chain.

Lousy I mean a lousy place. The hotle, clerk were rude, beyound words. Snapping at me when i asked if I could change rooms. The room was clean, but absurdly, small. The bathroom was a joke. I was on vacation and this was a crummy place to spend part of it. I would sleep in my car before ever going back

I purchased my rooms online over a month before I was to travel. On the day of the reservation I called about 10 PM to confirm my room with 2 double beds (4 weary travelers) and we were arriving about midnite. My room was confirmed and the clerk said she would make a note for the next shift with my information. Arriving about midnite I was given their last room - 1 king bed! After telling the new clerk this was unacceptable I was told they had only one empty room with two double beds but the A/C was not working. After promises that the manager would come and switch out the A/C unit I was "given" the room with 2 beds at no charge. Let me quote the CEO's statement plastered everywhere in the hotel. "Legendary Service, Exceptional Value, A Perfect Stay... Every Time. I guarantee it." Notice every word in CAPS but GUARANTEE IT. Wonder what his definition of "it" is? Realize also the manager never came or even called to apologize. I had purchased the room in advance so if I had not showed there should have been an empty room per my specifications. The clerk did not offer to supply a fan for the hot and humid room. The room had trash and a wet/dirty ice bucket. This leads me to believe that right after my call the A/C unit went out so the clerk moved someone to my room which would have worked out except I showed up. So now there are two unhappy parties instead of one and you know that the Jameson Inn�s motto is worthless.

The kids loved the pool. What was disliked was us leaving a tip, but the person cleaning the room doesn't get it. I don't think it's fair that they have to clean the room and get no tip.
