Sheraton Denarau Villas, Denarau is

I liked the interior of the room but everything else was bad. The location is remote and so they take advantage and over charge on everything. Every meal was costing us $100 Australian which makes it hard to relax. Service is on Fiji time which means you have to wait ages for everything and thats if they respond at all. I really don't know how they can call themselves 5 star. They charge above 5 star rates but give 3 star service.

We have just got back from 10 days staying at Sheraton Villas. We loved it and found it a perfect place to stay (we have a large family) for families. The food was hit and miss, and for the kids quite ordinary, but that wasn't just the Sheration, it seemed to be all of the resorts combined. We like being able to use the bula bus to visit the other resorts for dinners, swimming in the pools etc. The people are fabulous, breakfasts excellent and service (once you got over 'fijian time') was impeccable. The beach didn't look the best, but the sand was very silky and kids didn't care and played anyway. I loved and can't wait to go back there again. Would stay at the same place too.

One of the most relaxing i have ever stayed great staff friendly service nice rooms very romantic to walk on the beach with the sunrise or the sunset

THE PEOPLE WERE WONDERFUL, THE COUNTRY IS AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL WE CANT WAIT TO RETURN. THE WEATHER WAS JUST GLORIOUS AND WE LOVE THE WHOLE CONCEPT OF FIJI TIME, SOMETHING WE SHOULD ADOPT IN ALL COUNTRIES

I love this place...I visit one time with my family and it was fantastic...We took pictures of the hotel and i think we spend an hours looking at the place...

Just make sure you don't sign up for Starwood. We bought an "explorer package" and used it for our stay. It excludes you from the breakfast buffet. Not a great club to belong to.

It was very welcoming and it had a had a very homey feeling in the soal of the island and hotel. It was like coming to your dream home after experiencing the dream vacation. I have never went on a vacation and actually wanted to stay inside and experience and enjoy the suite I had rented. It was fabulase I have never been so happy with service in my entire life. Thank you for your kindness.

Sheraton Resort in general (denarau resort, denarau villas and royal denarau) all really top notch operations. I stayed at sheraton denarau villas one visit, and sheraton royal the next. spent most of my time around the main resort hub which is excellent for poolside, shopping and dining. staff were really top notch too, very friendly, very accommodating. I loved it. Room was exceptional, though couldn't for the life of me come up with any reason to watch the really coool 52" plasma TV while in Fiji! I plan to return there as often as possible. particularly as a staging post for Island cruises or getaways. I recommend this place highly. if you are doing an island getaway (treasure, malolo, castaway, beachcomber, etc.), start or end your holiday at sheraton denarau, free easy shuttle to the marina where you depart for the island trip. denarau resort is 15 minutes or so from the airport, a wonderful arrival. satay a night, then head off to the islands. you'll be glad you took time out, really. On the plus side - well trained friendly staff, great restaurants, breakfast buffet is sumptuous as generally are the evening buffets in the Verandah Restaurant (Open air overlooking the ocean). Rooms v good with giant bathrooms. All have a view of the sea. Ask for a room, sea side of the northern block if in a standard room and get closer to the ocean. Building maintenance has kept pace with the 15+ year age of the building and all still looks v good and works. Things to watch for - - generally has a high occupancy rate so if arriving on an early flight expect to wait for an afternoon check in. - the beach here is man made and therefore not the pristine white sand you get on the island resorts in Fiji.
