Rodeway Inn and Suites Middletown, Middletown

This is a warning to anyone thinking of booking this hotel. We were horrified by the cleanliness of our room. We purchased a “package deal” and specifically picked this hotel because of the free shuttle. To our dismay the free shuttle was not running either night we stayed. A worker had “called in sick.” The free continental breakfast is a joke. Both mornings there was no food left and the crumbs that were left over were covered in swarms of flies. Our room was filthy especially the bathroom. The furniture was broken, the curtains and sheets were horribly stained and we had no toilet paper for more than half of our stay. In fact I have not unpacked my luggage yet because I am terrified that I will expose my house to bed bugs from this hotel. To top it all off a staff member offered to make us a dinner reservation. We reminded him twice and arrived at Le Bistro to find that we had no reservation. This was the worst place we have ever stayed.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The power went out because the washing machine exploded on the circuit breaker. Had to switch rooms 3 times, before we finally decided to go to another hotel. Now they are refusing to give us a refund. What a dump. Not to mention the ceilings are cracked, the furniture is falling apart, and their staff has no idea what they are doing.
