The Best!!

My husband and I stayed 6 nights at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas as my husband attended a conference held at the Mandelay Bay Convention Center.
I am a real stickler for good customer service, and I am so pleased to say that the staff at The Four Seasons could NOT have been more pleasant. We had such a lovely time there. The room was spotless and very comfortable. We had 2 parcels delivered from out of town during our stay and they were delivered to our room in a timely manner.
Every staff member we had contact with was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The housekeeping staff was top notch - very attentive to the room and very thoughtful with the turndown service. Each evening our bed was turned down, lights dimmed - and soft music and lovely video's of nature were tuned in on the very large plasma television awaiting our return to the hotel.
The concierge was helpful to arrange meals, suggest restaurants, give directions and arrange transportation. The staff was truly friendly, from the General Manager to the kind man who was busily painting miniscule scuff marks on the baseboards in the hallway.
Room service was wonderful and extremely prompt. The meals we enjoyed were all perfectly prepared. The fresh flowers and special touches to room service did not go unnoticed.
The valet service was very nice. The staff was attentive and professional. I made special notice that all staff members addressed us by name whenever they could. Our name is pronounced differently than the spelling looks, and it was so refreshing to have our name pronounced correctly. Again - small touches matter.
"Thoughtful" would be the word I would use to sum up our experience at the Four Seasons. Yes, the hotel is very pretty, the rooms are well appointed, the lobby is comfortable and well decorated...but is was truly the people at the Four Seasons who made our stay so very pleasant. The staff seemed sincerely interested in our comfort. It was so refreshing to have such a lovely experience.
So many times we stay at beautiful hotels with nice rooms -- but the staff lacks something. Perhaps they are snooty, too busy to attend to their guests or maybe just unhappy in their jobs...It makes a GRAND difference in the experience that the traveler has. Many hotels are lovely, but we would never patronize them again purely because of the ill-mannered staff.
The Four Seasons was the antithesis of a hotel with a poorly trained or organized staff. No matter where we stay from now on, my husband and I will forever hold hotel experiences up against The Four Seasons in Las Vegas...It will be extremely hard for a hotel to measure up!
