La Quinta Inn Las Vegas Nellis, Las Vegas

This has undoubtabily has to be one of the finest for the money in Nevada..We have stayed here several times now and the staff and service never changes ..Always friendly and couteous and willing to help whatever your needs are...We are looking forward to staying at the hotels on our way to and from Washington State when we travel in the spring and fall ... Hope the rest are as good as this one...I think the breakfast is awesome and sure saves us a lot of money not eating out....The spa and pool are really clean and well taken care of...

We stayed at this hotel while visiting red rock canyon. The hotel has new large rooms, and provide a great FREE breakfast. If you want to stay at a non casino hotel then this place is ideal.

When we first arrived, we were greeted by Jeff who was very nice to us and also gave us the jacuzzi room. We were staying there for 7 days 6 nights. The bed was comfortable, everything was fine until we found a dead cockroach on the bed our 4th night there. I went and the front desk person, which was a lady and she sent a maid to our room. When the maid got there, she took the cockroach and said her manager would call us in a few minutes. We were heading out the door but decided to wait. We ended up waiting for 30 minutes. My husband went upfront and the front desk lady accused us of planting the bug there! I was so furious! She just brushed it off like nothing! All she said was that she couldn't do anything and that was that. Later that night we talked to Jeff again and we got a different room and one nights worth money back. Seriously though, we will never go back there. We were so mad and it kind of ruined our trip. One nice person just couldn't make up for the rudeness of the others there!

Nice La Quinta. Lots of Air Force guests there, which I like. Very clean, big rooms. The only problem is the location. Concrete and dirt/gravel on the outside, plus a WalMart parking lot with what appears to be some permanent campers. Not a place to go for a night's walk, but the rooms are nice, big and modern.

I had to stay at the hotel because the military gave me this location for two weeks. The hotel is two minutes from Nellis Airforce base. Walmart, Del Taco and McDs is within walking distance from the hotel. Only one taxi service will pick you up for the Strip but any will return you to the hotel. The surrounding area is not the most attractive because everyday I stay a different person being arrested on my way to the hotel. The police have a strong presence. The hotel has a nice in door pool nothing big enough to get some exercise. The treadmills are not great but work well enough for a sweat. Breakfast is good but gets old really quickly. The waffles are decent. Internet worked well but it was not wireless in the rooms. Overall not bad because the government paid for it!
