Comfort Inn Bardstown, Bardstown

My wife and I have stayed here several times while visiting family in Bardstown and have enjoyed all of our stays. We have always been welcome by extremely clean rooms, nice beds, and friendly hotel staff. I work in the travel business and this is probably one of the best 2 star/diamond properties that I have encountered. I do agree that it doesn't look like the "Taj Mahal" from the outside but that doesn't take away from the hotel itself. I have also stayed in the Hampton Inn that is right down the road and always pay $10-$15.00 less at the Comfort Inn , which is just as nice.

I have been staying at this comfort inn for 6 years now. The place has always been great and friendly. New additions have been there to the luxury of the motel. The first time i checked in this hotel was in 2003, there was a front desk staff, sunny he checked me in and he is the best front desk person i have met during my stays in any motel in USA, canada. he was friendly and polite and hard working. He managed the desk and the breakfast and each guest felt his presence and attention. when we stay in hotel we look for a friendly person like him. Last 5 years, everytime i checked in late night sunny was there to help me out. Its now 8 months probably i dont see him there, i asked other staff in the motel but they didnot say anything about him. Hope this comfort inn brings that guy back, he was a asset. I thank sunny for being so nice and helpful to a guest like me.

Nice place,good experience,great flat screen TV,fridge and micro were pleasent surprise.

The Hotel is nice with clean rooms but be aware of inflated rates. We have stayed there on several occasions at $69.00 -$79.00 per night after booking online but after making a reservation direct with the Hotel staff they tried to charge me $149.00 per night. I will not stay there again or do business with Comfort Inn's again.

The lady who made the waffles was very pleasant. We have stayed at other choice hotels and the guest made their own waffles and was making a mess. This place was really great with clean rooms and very good breakfast.

Very nice room & very nice helpful staff loved the ceiling fan.The pool was really great and the breakfast was excellent.Overall the hotels was the best!!!!!!!

All the staff is friendly and the breakfast was great! We enjoyed our stay here. We will recommend our friends for sure if they look for a hotel in Bardstown KY.The service at breakfast was excellent. Thank you!!

The hotel and the service was great!!!! The staff was incredible...especially Mr. Mayur Patel. We wanted a place that had live music and he called everywhere to see which place had live bands that night and he even called a taxi for us. The breakfast was incredible and the pool was so therapuetic. Sunny, the breakfast host, was terrific as well and made us those belgium waffles for us. If I ever visit the Bardstown area again, definitely the Comfort Inn.

The hotel itself was great but the front office manager MAYUR PATEL was really rude ,when we ask to give us better deal on room he was stuck on the higher rate later a lady came and give us better price but she had no uniform and name tag so dont know her nameseem like she was on the higher position. Anyways after entering the room it felt great the room was super clean just had little more furniture polish on table,breakfast was excellent pool was great Overall evrything was fine except that rude front office manager seems like he was millionare who does not care about guest walking out the door and never come back. Even the next morning same guy was not in uniform but was arguing with another guy about something in computer while we were sitting in lobby next to fireplace We don't know where the GM was but seems like this person rules this place IN MY OPINION IF THEY WANT TO DO BUSSINESS THEY NEED TO CHANGE THE FRONT OFFICE MANAGER.

My husband and I stay in Bardstown quite often for his job, we used to stay at the Hampton Inn right behind the Comfort Inn. We were getting pretty upset with the Hampton service and the rooms were filthy (I use to get extra sheets to cover the furniture in order to sit on because I refused to sit on the filthy furniture). At the Comfort Inn, the rooms are CLEAN and SPACIOUS. The STAFF is very FRIENDLY and COURTEOUS. We have NEVER had a problem the the Comfort Inn or the staff and we will stay there on all future trips. I can not see were anyone would be unhappy witha stay at the Bardstown Comfort Inn.
