Days Hotel Hardy, Hardy

After reading these reviews, my daughter begged me to post ours. She is 9 and was traumatized by the experience we had at the place. The (eastern) Indian man would not even rent a room to myself, my daughter and best friend. We traveld 15 hours to get there to visit my grandma in a nursing home. We got in late, asked to see a room---when all 3 of us girls/women got out of the car, he said he would not rent to us! Come to find out, the "Bug" Western, just down the road was run/operated/owned by his wife who had called and tipped him off that we were on our way and would actually ask to SEE a room. The "Bug" Western was CRAWLING with bugs--no lie! I guess that is why Mr. Man would not let us stay. He said--You are trouble!!!! Never been treated like this at even a MOTEL!! The Hardy Sring River Lodge was excellent!!

Stayed July 19th 2008 and the room was horrible.. the flies almost knocked me down when i opened the bathroom door. and then I thought the roaches where gonna carry me away, they were the same size of the freakin scorpion that was in the room!! The older woman working at the front desk was not nice at all.. she was more concerned about the roaches then the scorpion that was running around. I must say she was nice enough to leave us with a bottle of freakin bug spray for our troubles!!
