Candlewood Suites Orlando - Altamonte Springs, Altamonte Springs

This place was terrible! We arrived here on a Monday and the outdoor pool was broken. We were told everyday that it was supposed to be fixed that day. There are no beaches around here because it's in the middle of the state so you would expect the pool to be operating. The pool was never fixed the whole week we were here. You had to keep your shoes on at ALL times in the room because your feet would be BLACK. The bathtub leaked. The light by the bed wouldn't work. The tv remote only had 1 button that would work. The room key would only work once and then we would have to get it reactivated. We had to unplug the alarm clock because it made awful noises throughout the day and night. For the price we could have stayed at a nicer hotel with a working pool!!!!

My room was really new looking & very clean as well. Everything I needed was available, and the folks at check-in were friendly, and, since there is no hotel restaurant, they suggested a few local spots nearby. The area was a quiet one as well, no noisey traffic. Parking lot was well lit, and there is a "General Store" & small gym on-site. VCR, DVD & DSL in the room also, I didn't get a suite, but my room had a refrigerator, cook top & microwave also.
