"Feels like home"
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/27/09
This hotel was like a home away from home for me. They have 5:00pm cookie service and a wine reception on Wednesday nights in front of the fireplace. This is the place to stay!

Somewhat disappointing...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/01/07
If you're looking for a great desk to work at, this is the hotel. Other than that, it is somewhat disappointing. The desk is so large that the room is cramped. Only one side of the bed is easily accessible and there is only one nightstand, which barely fits the clock-radio. The refrigerator is also quite loud and woke me up on more than one occasion, as did the heating/cooling unit which makes loud, rapid clicking noises, which sound like a child playing with a light switch. The view from my room consisted of a small, steep hillside and trees...not very scenic. The internet service was up and down like a yo-yo, so downloading business files and e-mail was sporadic. They eventually provided an alternative connection which was more reliable, but limited you to 6 hours before you had to renew your connection. The kitchenette was well equipped. The continental breakfast was adequate but the area in which it is located is extremely cramped. I must admit however that the staff was extremely courteous and friendly, but my overall experience left me "underwhelmed"

A little disappointed...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/10/07
I was a little disappointed with the Larkspur. The one bedroom suite was very cramped. It had more furniture than could fit in the living room and barely enough room to climb into bed in the bedroom. The appliances and mismatched decor did not look anything like the pictures and the bed that was supposed to be one of the most comfortable in town was a let down. The view (or lack of) from our window was a hill "directly" behind the hotel. The jacuzzi, which is smashed into the rear of the hotel (up against the hill) is very, very small and equally as unexciting. On a good note, the Larkspur was clean and the front desk personel friendly. They made availalbe down/feather comforters to help bed comfort along with a variety of different pillows. They had a decent continental breakfast and a fitness room with free weights. Functional, clean hotel...yes! Nice suite hotel...no!

horrible customer service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/28/07
It's new so everything is not worn out and the rooms are a nice size but the customer service is very poor. Because of a storm the power went out in the middle of the night and their back up generator wasn't working. (glowsticks in the hallway) The next day afternoon the power still wasn't on so my husband and I had to leave because we had our baby with us. This was in December'06 and it is now end of March and we have been waiting for a reimbursment for the 2 nights that we couldn't stay.(we had to find another hotel) We have just been told that they would not give us our money back.

Great Business Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/05/06
Larkspur landing was a great stay while on business trips to the Seattle area. The hotel rooms offer a kitchenette area with full frig, MW, Dishwasher and stove. They also have menus for delivery from various restraunts. There is complimentary high-speed internet, cable TV and DVD player. Staff was very nice and a great touch with chocolate chip cookies when you get back from work. Fruit is also out all day to snack on. Location is convenient with easy on to I-90 and just 10 minutes west to downtown Seattle or east to mountains and hiking trails. There is an Outback Steakhouse, Pizza Hut, Dairy Queen, Subway and great Thai place (O Char) in the area.

(Not) Sleepless in Seattle
By Paul, 06/08/05
This hotel is new and is still undergoing construction. Therefore, it is a bit messy and noisy on one floor, and many of the conveniences, such as the library and even the office, are either incomplete or in a temporary location. Nevertheless, for the money, it was a good hotel that is only going to get better. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. My room was clean and nicely equipped with new appliances such as a microwave and range, a comfortable bed, and blackout curtains. It was close enough to the interstate to be fairly convenient to just about anywhere in Seattle but secluded enough to be quiet. The continental breakfast and apartment-like setting really helped with the cost of the trip. After a long day, it was nice to relax in the jacuzzi although the temporary location of the office (right next door) put a damper (no pun intended) on privacy. Parking was a problem, but the parking garage on the lower level wasn't finished. It's a bit tricky getting to the hotel off of the highway. If you don't pay attention, you could be back on the interstate or on a dead-end street.
