Anyone for Korean?
The Garden Suites Hotel is a nice hotel, although I think it needs more dedicated management. The carpet in the hallways was dirty and stained, and, when I pointed out water leaking from the concrete ceiling of the underground garage, the security guard I showed it to simply said, "Sometimes it leaks." We found the room a bit on the small side, but he biggest problem we had was in understanding the staff, and making ourselves understood. Since they deal with a great deal of Korean clientele, most of the staff is Korean, and they understand/speak limited English. On the other hand, the Housekeeping staff is Hispanic, and, again, limited in English. The first night, I was surprised to find the bottom sheet on one of the two queen beds was much smaller than the mattress. After turning the sheet sideways, I was finally able to make it cover most of the top of the mattress, but still unable to tuck it in.
