Red Roof Chicago Calumet Park, Calumet Park

I was looking for a hotel for out of town guests that is attending a event nearby. I walked in to get room rates the front desk clerk didn't even assist us we walked around the hotel and in minutes decided oh no. it is smelly, and from the outside it looks closed down please get it together you are ruining it for the motel 6 next door. curtains hanging beds stacked against the wall in the window come on now!!!!!!

OMG I currently visited this hotel 6/25/10. I requested a jacuzzi suite to enjoy. the pull out couch that my son was to sleep on was broken and on top of that me and my boyfriend got in the jacuzzi and 15 minutes later there were alarms and the police beating down our door. They stepped in the room while i was in the nude and stated they werent coming around the corner where i was but i stood up and put a towel around me anyway just as they rounded the corner. Apparently the jacuzzi was flooding the downstairs lobby no fault of ours. After the police left the firemen showed up about 10 minutes later. Now the hotel manager want us to move across the way to a different hotel. I had to wake up my 3 year old son and pack up all our belongings and when we got over there the jacuzzi was way smaller and there was no extra bed for my son. I complained about the differences and was told i had been compensated. I ask to speak with a manager whom called me 3 days later to say that he'd send me some 20% off coupons because they compensated me by putting me in another room....... I need to know how do i go about reporting this hotel to somebody. The only professiona acting and sounding person i talked to was Shay. So Shay thank you for your time and patience and Peter (manager) this isn't over yet

four of us checked into a room with two double beds. there were no towels or cups in the room. we requested towels and got a nasty reply from the desk clerk that it was not her job to get us towels but she would try to find some for us. we were given hand, and bath towels for three people and was told it is their policy to give three sets of towels regardless of how many people are in the room. we tried to get our money back but could not so that we could stay somewhere else. I am in the process of contacting a lawyer and the health department. we left and stayed at the baymount even thou i paid for two days. also the sheets and pillow cases were stained.

Toilet and Shower were filthy Bed sheets had stains, covers had dark red stains Left hotel and they would not refund; I only stayed for 10-15 minutes Called general manager for a full week, no calls were returned to me Now in the process of filing a formal complaint with the state...
