Check them out - Very nice for the price
I almost did not stay here after reading the other reviews on Yahoo. This is your place, if your looking for a clean kitchenette at a great price.
I am in my room at the Crossland Baton Rouge as I write this review. It is the 3rd day after Hurricane Gustave tore through Louisiana. Baton Rouge was hit quite hard and power is still out in much of the city, but is on here at the Crossland due to their hiring of a huge truck mounted generator. I have seen at least a dozen hotels in the area without power. I am in town to help with repairs to a local refinery and had already spent close to five weeks at the Crossland before evacuating the city a couple of days before the storm, not really expecting a problem but not wanting to be here if power was out for an extended period of time. The Crosslands phones came back on today, so after making contact I was pleasantly suprised to here they got the power back yesterday. I was told the power was off for a couple of days, so I requested someone to clean out my refrigerator. Upon arrival I found a cleaned room and a cleaned and deodorized fridge. I will likely be here for another week or so for of 6 weeks. During my evacuation I stayed at a couple of hotels with names you would recognize, spending twice as much as I spend at the Crossland for not as clean, modern or nice a room.
