off beat, hip and hot, no posers like at the W, this place is just cool without trying too hard. The bar has live bands most of the time and and River North restaurants are right there.

they had cool music there, clean rooms, very comfortable, and it was all for a good price. Also they had a great resturaunt and good room service there.

i met jim belushi!!!!!

this was my first visit to the place, and when i was going to the house of blues to see a concert, i met jim belushi. i actually shook his hand. he was walking out the side doors of the hotel and i just caught him out of the corner of my eye. he was by himself, and i said "excuse me sir" and he stopped and looked. i walked up to him and asked if i could shake his hand. he reached out with a smile, and i said to him "thanks Jim!"

this is an upscale hotel with great amenities without the upscale price. the hotel is in a good location for nightlife and the trendiness is top rate

A couple days and night full of different

Located right where we wanted to be. Took the train in, grabbed a short cab ride to the hotel. Arrived way early, but lucked out and our room was ready. Rooms were not the standard, run of the mill off-white and bolted down furniture. Stereo in room was a good touch. Neat mosaic in our bathroom. Good view of the river from our room. Hit Millennium Park in the afternoon, ate down the street at Redfish, walked to the Oriental to see "Wicked", barhopped, and enjoyed a good cigar. Made for a tremendous weekend.

This is a great hotel and city attraction! I reccomend this to everyone. The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere and great food. I would visit this hotel on a daily basis.

Great Memory

The concierge remembers everyone's name - incredible! The location is perfect for shopping, going to the theater or hitting a concert at the House of Blues. Rooms are funky and fun.

i liked the view and all the things to do around town,and inside the hotel. they have a cool bowling alley and a bar inside and a nice restaurant.

Center of everything

Perfect for going to a great concert, at an intimate venue. Also has a nice resturant and bar. Plus there is great nightlife in the surrounding area, as well as Smith and Wolensky, being right next door.

A place to unwind and wind up in the Windy City

I felt inspired by the folk art and textured walls. The room was comfortable and bursting with color. The music - loved it all. Gospel Brunch to the Foundation Room, it was worth every dime.
