Description

101 Dalmatians, Fantasia, Toy Story, and other Disney classic films are celebrated at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, near Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. This resort is a playground for kids and kids-at-heart alike. Swimming areas include a Mighty Ducks-themed pool, Fantasia-themed pool, and a children's pool. A playground is located between the Fantasia and Toy Story areas. Gamers can get their fix at the Reel Fun Arcade. Additional amenities include transportation throughout Walt Disney World Resort, babysitting services, in-room pizza delivery, laundry services, and free parking. Dining options include the World Premiere Food Court, featuring four dining shops and a deli market. Disney's Magical Express Service is complimentary round-trip airport transportation with luggage handling (skip baggage claim). Advance reservations are required and can be completed by accessing www.disneysmagicalexpress.com/US. Guest room features include safe, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, cable TV, and free high-speed Internet access, mini-refrigerator (upon request).

Disney,bright and bold

Great for kids, bright, bold and very Disney. Grounds very clean, but our room was not dusted or hoovered in a fortnight, but kids don't notice things like that!My husband said I was too fussy.Towels were changed every day though and sheets every four days. Great service at reception very helpful.Pool great for kids' but crowded at times,even at evening time. Get a refillable mug well worth the money.Food court ok if you like fast food every day. Gets boring after a week.Kids will love the mickey mouse waffles.I found the food hard going as I dont eat meat,and longed for vegie food.But my son loved the food.Food court can get very busy at peak meal times and long lines for food. The arcade was great for amusing kids at night, as they still have energy even after a full day at a park! A great holiday if you have kids ,wont break the bank!

The price is great .Our grandchild thinks this is her summer home!Its oh so kid friendly.We have been coming to disney for many years .First with the children now with the grandchildren.We find the movie resort the very best when we have the grands along.

Great Fun!!

This place is wonderful!! The theaming around the resort is wonderful, the kids love it and so did we. It is the absolute best resort of any other disney resort. The rooms look NEW and are very clean, the front desk people are very friendly and helpful. Even if you travel without kids, this is the place to stay!!!

Cheap price, decent location, good food, great service, great pool: what more can you ask for?

The All Star Music Resort was by far our favorite resort we've stayed at in Walt Disney World. The room was very quiet (we were in the Calyspo Building). The service was great and the check-in was so fast we could hardly believe it. The 2 pools were great. My kids liked the piano pool the best. My 6 year old boy was so excited when he found a small lizard (not poisonous or harmful) in the grass behind the building. The price was great and we even got a sneak peak at the new All Star Family Suites. They look GREAT!!! They are really big and can easily accomodate a family of 5 or 6. Next time we will try the Family Suites instead of getting 2 standard rooms. You can't beat this!!!

Can't wait to return!!

Disney's All Star Movie Resort was great! After visiting in the Boardwalk Villas in 2001, I found that the Value Resorts are just as nice. Not as big, but just as nice. We went this year-2006- and stayed for a week. we plan to return next January.

Saving for our next trip

The hotel overall was very nice. The only problem we had was the Fantasia Pool. It was closed a lot. I'm guessing for service. The rooms are nice. The cleaning staff made sure they were clean and neat before we returned for an afternoon rest. I suggest to any future travelers that you pack any items that you think you may need in a carry on bag. Our luggage was a little late arriving via the Magical Express. Also, purchase the souviner mug. It may seem expensive, but it was well worth the free refills. We had a great time at the hotel as well as the parks. Already started saving for our next trip. Can't wait to go back.

Reasonable at DisneyWorld

We stayed at All-Star Movies where the room was small, but clean and adequate. Since we only stayed for one night (a Wednesday) we cannot comment on room cleaning over a longer period. The check-in was easy and the staff very helpful in answering questions. The convenience of the parking and the bus service to the venues were big advantages (including waiting time for the bus, 15-20 minutes in morning and 20-30 minutes returning in afternoon). The express check-out also went very well. We would definitely stay there again on a next trip to DisneyWorld.

It had lots of problems and a terrible service. They should have better rooms and to be more clean. The manager was an ungentle person I hope you do something better for your hotel

We loved staying in Disney's All Star Movies Resort. We had to stay in Toy Story a major favorite with the whole family. Our room was nice and clean. The cast members were awesome. And, we really utilized the pool, lounge, and cafe! We'd do it again... oh yeah, we did!

will go back in just a few months!

It was awesome!! Upon arrival you already get the feeling that you are right at home. We loved everything, the rooms were clean, we had pool view, the food court was great. Since we were travelling with my son of two years old we mostly eat at the food court at night since my son was exhausted after a day at the parks. My oldest son enjoyed himself after dinner at the gamezone right in front of the food court. I can't find any thing I didn't like. And since we got back we are planning to go back in April of 2006 with a big group of friends and family. We recommend this hotel to everyone with children. Can't wait to go there again!!!!!
