Save your $, and stay somewhere else

I recently visited DW with my sister and her two boys, 6 & 3. Using my pocketbook for a guide, I made reservations for a preferred room at Disney's All Star Movies "Resort." The preferred room means your room is at the check-in headquarters for whichever All Star place you’re staying....
When we arrived to check in, I was notified by the check-in person that due to a huge group coming in that needed to all be in the same building, that my reservation was downgraded to a non-preferred room. This means our room will be in a location away from the main headquarters which means away from dining, away from bus pick-up, away from any of the perks that could possibly make this place bearable. Yes, I do like conveniences...especially when on vacation.
By the way, this is NOT a resort or a hotel; it’s a motel. All the doors to the rooms open up to the outside...I truly do not know how DW gets by not mentioning this to their incoming guests.
The All Star rooms are extremely small and the full-size?? beds are even smaller. There’s not one thing the word resort applies to at All Star Movies. Please advise your readers to save a little more $ and stay at another “resort.”
Apparently, our stay was during four very busy days in February. From the time we checked in, I was asking to be upgraded to another resort – and everything was full. Finally on the third and fourth days of our stay we were able to stay in another location which was well-worth the difference in cost.
