I have stayed at this hotel many times. Always the staff is exceptionally accomodating. All of my requests have been dealt with in an expeditious and friendly manner. The rooms are very nice and the food is exceptionally well prepared.

Best hotel in Cork
By suzette, 11/19/07
My husband and I just spent two days at the Kingsley while in Cork. Everyone on the staff was great! We ate dinner and breakfast in Otters (the hotel restaurant). Both were exceptional. We also ate dinner one night in the casual dining area which was also quite lovely. The pool, 2 jacuzzi's (one outdoor, one indoor), sauna's, etc. were also top notch. The outdoor jacuzzi is bigger than most pools with shoulder massagers that were wonderful! A previous reviewer said they were only open from 7AM to 10AM, but they are open from 7AM to 10PM. Showers and changing rooms were clean, and roomy. Our king deluxe room had great lighting, an extremely comfortable bed, a flat screen TV with surround sound, dataport internet and was really quiet. We never heard another guest. If you want to watch a movie they have a good variety in the lobby. Overall, we loved this hotel and we are hard to please. I'm ready to go back to Cork just to stay there again.

Food
By BarbaraH, 7/5/07
I did not stay overnight at this hotel, but I did have dinner there on my last night in Cork. The food is delicious. Every meal comes with a side of potatoes, carrots and other veggies. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the dining area that our group occupied. The area had subdued lighting and featured a lower area with an overlooking level. Very nice decor with some open tables and some booths. I highly recommend visiting the hotel for dinner.

Young couple getaway.
By Maria, 6/6/07
Myself and my boyfriend stayed at the kingsley hotel on June bank holiday week end 07, for 2 nights. I wasnt too sure what to expect, but the hotel was fab, and made it a great stay for us. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was much more than expected, good big size room with everthing in it which said. hairdryer, iron, flat screen tv, dvd, big bed, which was very cosy! I loved the bathroom, 2 sinks, seperate bath, and shower. We were very impresssed. Cleaners were always in, anytime we left it was always cleaned by time we got back again. We did not eat here, as we went in to the city which is only few minutes away by car. The only dissapointed was the leisure centre, i was very much looking foward to a swim but its only open from 7am -10am, and on holidays we did not want to get up early for a swim! Room service was great, breakfast was lovely. but be aware of the mini bar in the room, if u touch anything in it, without taking it , you will get charged for it! A mistake I made! We both had great week end, and staying at the Kingsley made it! I would def reccomend this and if im ever in cork again , will def be back here!

Best People and Hotel Ever!
By Richard, 9/8/06
We would like to thank Managers, and all staff who helped us while on tour with Princess Cruise Line. The terror threat made our group miss our flight. All of you went above the call of duty to keep us comfortable while things were put in motion to get us on our way. We shall never forget your kindness. A beautiful Hotel ! Comfortable, beautiful, and clean rooms. Would love to stay again! R. and J. Haavisto U.S. Calif.
