Days Inn & Suites, Miami

Being welcomed by a cockroaches and smell of mildew and having to sleep with the lights on was not pleasing, the next morning the lobby was packed with tenants who were waiting for a refund or trying to check out ASAP

I stayed at the Days Inn, civic center. The rooms were clean and affordable but the service was less than spectacular! The so called free shuttle is a joke! we had to wait 2.5 hours at the airport for the shutle to arrive while all other hotel shuttles came by at least three times, I called the hotel desk 4 times during this time period and was told that they would be there within 10 minutes and the delay was the result of a "shift change". The maid service failed to bring clean towels, so if you want a cheap place to stay but are not concerned about top rate service than this is the place for you. The location was ten minutes from south beach and about the same from the airport so cab ridess are about 20.00 to anywhere.
