Motel 6 Kannapolis, Kannapolis

Where do I begin? First room they put us in - the toilet and air conditioning weren't working. We switched rooms at 10 pm. I had made the reservations online 6 months prior for 3 people and the owner flipped out on me (in very broken English - very hard to understand) for an extra $30 for a third person and also tried to raise the room rate because it was race weekend. He called the room 3 times at 11 PM YELLING at me to come down to the front desk to pay $30!!! I have never been so disrespected in my life! As if that wasn't enough, the room keys were both deactivated each night so we had to go to the front desk every night when we got back from the races at midnight in order to have them reactivated. Additionally, we never had 3 sets of towels in the room (even though there was a big ordeal over the fact that there were 3 people). When we asked for a third set, they didn't have any clean ones. The only other people staying at the hotel are the owners entire family. Wouldn't go back if my life depended on it! Other Americas Best Value Inns are not this way! Awful!

About 30 minutes from the air port. Not bad at all, but you do get what you pay for. Definitely not luxury accommodations. The place was clean enough, beds comfortable enough and the staff nice enough. To keep the costs low, they obviously have to cut some corners. No ice bucket or cups in the room. They skimped on decor, towels, toiletries. High speed internet was fine. It's next to a truck stop, so if your a timid female, I'd spend a little extra somewhere else.

the people running the place,well live there are very rude,the man told us he had no change when i came in and got my room which would have been a 5.00 bill,and he told my money and put it in his pocket.the room was dirty,toilet had hair on it,floor had cat or dog hair,on it.and the worst was the bed sheets had blood spots,and i was told by the india man that hsking.was gone for the day,and he could not do anything for me.so i left could not get my money back..
