Wingate by Wyndham Tampa USF / Busch Gardens, Tampa

Hotel is extremely close to Busch Gardens, shopping, and restaurants. Hotel staff was courteous and helpful. Great shuttle service to Busch gardens. Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was microsized and showing signs of wear. Security latch broken. A nice place with good amenities but showing signs of wear. Probably would try a different hotel next time

The staff was so knowledgeable and the General Manager was great. We were greeted with a smile at check in and the smiles continued throughout our stay. The 24hour whirlpool was the best way to end our busy days. We stayed three nights and we did our homework before booking this hotel. We had 7 in our group and 3 rooms. The rooms were clean and very large for what we paid. This hotel was perfectly located for our needs and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Thanks for a nice hot breakfast.

I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS HOTEL - MANAGER, THE STAFF, EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. Manuel, Manny, the General Manager is the best manager I have ever met in over 50 years of travelling. Any my whole family felt the same. He oversees everything and personally talks with guests and asks how everything is and what can he do to help you. I could not believe this man's level of professionalism and courtesy. Just fantastic. Room was spotless. All elevators and everything else worked all the time and we have stayed there twice. Maintenance is there 24/7 and if there are any problems whatsoever, they are right on it and it gets fixed immediately. All you have to do is tell someone that something is not working. If they do not know about it, they can not fix it.. duh.. Very quiet hotel even though right on main road. Great shuttle service with excellent service. All employees had wonderful attitudes and catered to everyone's every need. Fantastic hot breakfast every morning with biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, waffles, several different fruits, danish, grits, oatmeal, dry cerals, english muffins, bagels, cream cheese, butter and jelly packets. Juices, hot tea, hot chocolate, and great coffee. All tasted very good and self serve. Nice sized dining area and very comfortable. Really nice office area with 4 computers, 2 printers and one copy machine all for guest use. FREE WIFI IN ROOM and in lobby, etc. Again, I have never been treated this well at any motel or hotel. I will never stay anywhere else in Tampa. We have stayed twice a year since Oct 2006 and will continue to do so. In Oct 2006 we stayed a week and were catered to like you would not believe. WE GOT MORE THAN OUR MONEYS WORTH. I am telling you, this manager, staff and place is unbelivable in the best of sense.' We recently spent 2 nights at the Wingate Busch Gardens. The hotel was booked solid the night we arrived and although we had a reservation for a King with sleeper sofa, we did not know for sure if it would be available. They were very accomodating and had upgraded our room to a King with a double bed. Even with 2 weddings at the hotel that weekend, it was quiet, clean and the staff was very helpful. My son and I enjoyed the jacuzzi to ourselves both nights and used my family used the hotel's free shuttle service back and forth to Busch Gardens. It is a convenient location, but better yet was the clean and tastefully decorated room and great breakfast. We had left behind a bag that the manager went out of his way to ship back to us within 2 days. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in that area.

I just love this property. The staff was so personable. I love the fact they took time to help me find a great restaurant. This property also has tickets for Busch Gardens and Adventure Island. I was able to take my family. Thank you to Ritchie & Zulma they was wonderful.
