Comfort Inn Kerrville, Kerrville

I got caught on I-10 going EAST behind an accident for hours that left us by 8PM in Sorona, TX, 2 hours left to drive IF we got past the accident. The INDIAN Man on the phone refused to cancel our reservation even though it was beyond our control to get there. He made the reservation approx 6PM and cancellation was at 3PM. When called he said it is past cancellation time, I said I made the reservation 3 hours past cancellation time! Would not work with me and said he would charge me anyway. Terrible, will not stay at another Comfort Inn because of this man.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. All staff was extremely helpful with information about sightseeing. The parking was secure no need to worry about vehicle. The family will love the pool area. I will stay again and suggest it to all. Great job.

I truly enjoyed my visit at this motel. The motel seems to be new, I'm not sure how old it is but very well maintained. I was impressed with how well informed the desk clerk was and how well she knew the area and how helpful she was. The most important part of the motel for me though was the room--the simplest way of saying it is, it was clean, large, and with a very comfortable bed. I noticed that there was also a indoor pool, maybe next time I'll have time to enjoy that also. The motel also offers a free breakfast, they had everything you can think of--hot waffles, sausage, bagels, pastry, etc.. Big breakfast for the big state of Texas. Enjoyed my stay there and wouldn't stay anywhere else next time.

This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The rooms were clean, the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. It has been a long time since I have stayed at a Comfort Inn that is this nice. I read some of the other reviews after I booked the hotel but decided to stick to the reservation, I'm not sure what they were complaining about. The hotel was so clean and linen smelled fresh. Another plus was the breakfast, it was probably the best breakfast I've ever had at a motel for free. I would suggest to anyone, try it before you decide based up the few reviews that are listed here, I was pleasantly surprised.

This hotel hasn't been maintained very well. When I stayed there, the pool had a notice from the city saying it is closed but the hotel had it open anyway. I was too worried to swim in it because I didn't know why the city had closed it. The room had a musty bad odor so I asked to change rooms. The new room also smelled this way. All the furniture and linens seemed very old and worn down. The only good thing I have to say about this property is that the free breakfast "Comfort Sunshine" was very nice. There is a wide variety of food, coffee, and juices to choose from. You can even make your own waffles in the shape of Texas. The staff does not wear uniforms, and when I checked in the girl at the front desk was wearing a dirty T-shirt. Not a good first impression. If you aren't planning on spending any time in the hotel, stay here. If you are looking for a hotel to be your home away from home for a while, look somewhere else.

We stayed here about a year or so ago and thought it was o.k. to stay again. We were wrong!! The room smelled awful, it looked old and dirty and we did not feel comfortable at all. The swimming pool did not smell like it had any clorine in it, so it was probably dirty. I would not recommend staying here.
