Pretty Good....

The location of the Courtyard Marriott Lake Norman is superb, as it is close to restaurants, shopping, the interstate to downtown Charlotte, etc. The staff was very nice. The only real problem was the cleanliness. The shower was obviously dirty and we saw a couple of bugs on the floor. The bed was not comfortable at all.

WASTE OF MONEY!

I Guess I am just used to lower price hotels. This Marriott did not have a fridge or microwave - something that is essential when you are on a week long visit. On top of that they do not even give you a complimentary breakfast!! and they charged me $129 a night ... that being a corporate rate!!!!! Go to a Days Inn, Best Western or a Sleep Inn ... you pay less than $70/ night and you get MUCH more For all you people who dont care what you pay ... this review probably would not be an issue. Like I said, I am used to more economy hotels .. .adn when I decided to "splurge" a little, I was expecting a LOT more... atleast the basic stuff that the cheaper hotels have. The bed was about the only nice thing about this place - quite comfy
