Good for Business Travel

I stayed at the Oak Tree Inn in Dexter for 1 week. The hotel was located within a reasonable distance to several restaurants. The diner next to the hotel had good breakfasts. The breakfasts would have been expensive, but the hotel gives you a coupon each day. The most I spent on breakfast was $3. Overall, I won't recommend for a family vacation, but good for a business traveler.

Clean. Very few rooms have a microwave or refrigerator. No coffee pot. No coffee available in motel anywhere. No continental breakfast. They want to herd you over to the Pennys Diner where the food is expensive.

Won't be staying there again

I have to agree with Julie from St Louis reguarding this establishment. My husband & I stayed there on a Saturday night. After driving 12 hours we were very tired and just wanted a quiet place to stay. We liked that there were signs all over saying "Quite Please" - I guess it did not apply to the staff !! Our room was located next to an "employee only" door and it was opened and closed very loudly all night long ! They didn't not care that they kept waking us up !! Also I have to gripe about the lack of towels in the room - there were No hand towels and only one wash cloth ! We won't be staying there again !

Customer service missing!!

Not happy at all with this establishment. I have stayed here before. However, when I called to make a reservation the front desk very rudely informed me that there were no room available. This was before she asked the date I was arriving!!!!!!!!!!! Which by the way was at least 6 weeks away. I'm sorry but I will never patronize this establishment again. It seems to be too much of an inconvienence for them to book a room. For a smaller town I expected a much friendlier atmosphere. I guess that was expecting too much!!!!!!!!
