Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Ann Arbor, Ann Arbor

We stayed at this hotel for three days. When we checked in everything was fine. Our second day, we came back to the hotel after 4 PM and found out our room hadn't been cleaned. We called the front desk, but they told us housekeeping had left and offered us new towels. I asked them to make sure that our room was cleaned the next day and they said that wouldn't be a problem. Guess what, they missed our room again and no one was there to clean it. We asked for some type of adjustment when we checked out and the deskclerk said they would check with the manager and let us know. No one has called us in the 2 weeks since. I guess that tells us something right there.

We had just driven over 3 hours for a UofM football game and when we arrived to check in, we were told our room had been given away. We booked this room over 10 months in advance and guarenteed it with our credit card. I guess a guarenteed reservation means nothing to them. We were sent to another hotel that was not comparatable. We had to squeeze 6 people in 2 queen beds. I called the next week to complain to a manager and he gave me a very insincere apology. Stay somewhere else if you're staying in Ann arbor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was told this hotel has new owners and new managers. If that's the case, those new owners better try and get the old managers back. I have spent the last 3 days emailing the new general manager, trying to get one of their rooms with new carpet in them. He basically told me that he couldn't do it. When I booked a specific room back in January with Tera (who is no longer there), she guarenteed me the exact room I wanted and actually gave me the room number before I hung up. Now, that's service! This is the first time I have ever come across something, and someone, like this. I will not stay at that hotel again.

This is a great hotel. We were there when we were helping our son get settled in a new apartment for grad school at U of M. The two separate bedrooms and bathrooms are wonderful for a grown family. We used the kitchen area much more than I thought we would. The management couldn't have been nicer. The place could not have been any cleaner or better maintained. The extras such as the light dinner in the evening were great additions. We will try to stay there everytime we go to Ann Arbor in the next 4 years. Oh! Forgot. The beds are wonderful.

We are staying at Hawthorn Suites for a 6 week rehabilitation program at the U of M Aphasia Clinic. This hotel really goes out of it's way to make use feel at home. The entire staff is very friendly. We have breakfast there 7 days a week and dinner 4 nights a week, all included. They have even transported us out of town in their large shuttle to Frankenmuth to do some shopping on the weekends. I have never heard of a hotel that goes out of their way to treat their guests so well. No wonder they are the preferred hotel for the Victor Vaughn Aphasia clinic in Ann Arbor!!!!!

The hotel I usually stay at in Ann Arbor was full so I ended up staying here. I had heard of Hawthorns, but never stayed in one. From now on, I will have my travel department book me at this hotel. It has everything anyone could be looking for. A large suite, great breakfast, fitness center and indoor pool.

This hotel has everything the business traveler could want. I recently stayed here for the first time when doing business with Pfizer. I got a large suite with alot of room to work. Their wireless hi-speed internet helped me finish my work quickly. A hot breakfast and dinner were included with the room. And I had the best night's sleep ever in a hotel, thanks to the new mattresses they recently put in all the rooms. The amenities and service were more than I usually get from the other hotels on my business route. I made a reservation at check out for my next visit to Ann Arbor.

Our sports team stayed here recently and everything was great. Tera was very professional in dealing with our group. We had alot of room in the suites and they started their breakfast period early so we could get to our practice session on time. They even ran their shuttle bus for us on the weekend, when they normally don't provide this service. They went way above and beyond in service for us.

I travel to Ann Arbor weekly for business and always stay at Hawthorn Suites. I like the hotel and staff knows me by name, I am not just another guest. When my company moved across town, I had my choice of other closer hotels to stay in but I still stay at Hawthorn even though it is a 15 minute drive from our new location.

I am with the current Aphasia group with this hotel and everything has been great since we arrived. Hawthorn Suites has gone above our expectations, from the wonderful meals, to the transportation, and everything in between. The front desk staff is extremely helpful and goes out of their way to make us feel at home. The hotel recently purchased a new shuttle bus to transport our group to the U of M hospital and back. Everyone in our group loves it. This is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. They do everything right.
