American Creole House, New Orleans

You won't believe this place.... It's tucked away without even a gaudy sign out front! With all the over-priced, over-hyped, over-everything you find most of the time in New Orleans (it's the tradition, yes?), I think you will find this particular hotel is the easiest, most secure, most comfortable by far you've ever stayed in (and it's rated only two stars!!!!). Needless to say I feel it's also by far the best value I've run into in a long while.

Friendly staff, clean, very comfortable rooms (I loved the bed), the ambiance is strictly the "Big Easy". We had a wonderful experience, staying a week and wishing it could have gone on forever.....midway between downtown (French Quarter) and uptown (Garden District, zoo, etc), the location is ideal.

I definitely recommend this one! Thanks Marc (owner), Danita (housekeeper) and all the friends we made at American Creole! Because of you it really has been a trip to cherish...until the next time we come back!
