Horrible
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/10/12
Well lets start off first by the phone call to make the reservation. We call this so called hotel and they informed us that we would be charged at the end of our stay, but when we arrived they told us that we would have to pay up front. When we explained that the woman on the phone had told us we would be charged at the end of our stay the woman told us that she lied. So I guess that the hotel companies just hire any girl who did not finish high school. After we had decided to except all the bull and stay here we get to our room and most of the tv channels were fuzzy and did not work. We were there the Monday of the national championship between LSU and Alabama and were really wanting to watch the game. This hotel apparently advertises that they have ESPN but we sure could not watch it. We called the front desk to inquire about a solution to our problem and might as well have talked to a brick wall. The girl at the front desk knew no way to help and did not even try to come up with a solution. The only other solution to our problem was to use the internet which I think was installed in the 5th century by monks. So once more we call the front to ask who their internet provider was and we got the same girl who apparently just started working there 5 minutes before we called and she told us that she had no idea who their internet provider was or even who their cable was through. I have never worked for a hotel in my entire life but I figure that if you work for a company then you need to know a few things about the company that you work for. Also the girls that work at the front desk need to go out and by some new cloths, but mainly bras. I would not even force a known murder to stay in this dump of hotel, which looks like a good place to get stabbed. Please if you have any standards do not stay at this roach motel.

BIG MISTAKE STAYING HERE
By Randy, 5/11/09
I stayed here in May '09. My room stunk. When I told the front desk, they did NOTHING about it. The wireless internet did not work in my room and the front desk said it was my computer. I had to bring my computer down to the front desk to show them it was not my computer. It was their service. The girl said she would discount my room rate but she didn't. I asked for a single bed, got a double. I requested the front and got the rear of the motel. I requested the lower floor and got the upper floor. I had several trips to the top floor unloading my van. The breakfast is a joke. Their hot continental breakfast is coffee, toast, and cereal. I asked the the girl at the front desk how they could get away with calling this a hot breakfast. She laughed and said she don't know. To top it off they over charged me for my room once I left. I called to ask why and Nicole said I needed to call my bank and tell them to take the charge off. WHO DOES THAT? When I said they needed to do that, she hung up on me. I called back two more times and she kept hanging up on me and threatened to call the police if I called back. NEVER AGAIN will I stay with this rat trap. Because of my travels I have stayed in a few motels that were not up to my expectations but the staff was always helpful. This Days Inn did nothing to remedy any of the problems. TRAVELER BEWARE!

Only Go Here if You're Desperate
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/9/09
After spending a few nights in Clarksville we wanted to move somewhere closer to Fort Campbell. Most of the other hotels in the area were booked so we ended up at the Days Inn. Desperation is the only reason to stay here. We arrived around 1, which was the advertised check in time. The clerk told my husband the room would be ready by 1.30, which was after check in time but ok with us. We brought our bags up to the room and the room was not clean. the beds weren't made, nothing was cleaned, and the dirty linens were in a pile on the floor. I called the front desk and the clerk was very rude and unhelpful. she said that they were running behind and the room would be cleaned by 2.30 or so. I asked if the check in policy was 1 pm as their website and the sign in the lobby stated and that was confirmed. I asked if we would be receiving a discount because the room wasn't ready when we were told and she said that there was no manager on duty until Monday (this was Saturday) but that I could talk to the manager on Monday. Then she asked if we could leave and take our stuff because the staff wouldn't clean the room until we and all our belongings were out. We took our stuff back to the car and didn't come back until after 3 pm and the cleaning staff was still finishing the room when we came back. We will absolutely never stay here again. if the other hotels in our price range had not all been booked we would have left immediately.

Absolutely Horrible!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/11/08
Paid a preimium for a supposed 2 star hotel. We should have left as soon as we saw it but just finished driving 9 hours and we just didn't. Our mistake! The perfume stuff they sprayed in the room to cover any room odor was so strong that we had to leave the room door open. They put us n a handicapped room due to them not giving us the room they promised, and I am happy one of us wasn't handicapped. The shower seat was so gross looking if needed it I probably wouldn't have taken a shower. The water for the shower was hardly enough to come out of the shower head. They shower head also wouldn't adjust. The only position it stayed in was facing down and intothe wall that it was hanging on. Their "Continental breakfast was a joke! Cold bagels and toast, no toaster and 2 kind of cereal. nothing else to eat. If you decide to stay here...do so only under extreme hardship.

TERRIBLE!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/28/08
( I tried putting no stars, but it wouldn't let me. This place doesn't deserve ANY stars)My husband and I, have stayed here many times in the past. This LAST time, I went in, paid and got the room key. When we arrived at the room the bedhseets were on the floor and trash was everywhere. I drove back to the front, explained the girl what had happened. I asked her how long it would be before the room could be cleaned. She replied with, "Well I have to go down there and ask the maids." So I said nevermind, please give me a clean room, that was smoking, no matter how many beds. After getting the key, we drove to the room. Opening the door, I found the same exact thing. Bedsheets on the floor and trash everywhere. I drove back to the office, explained what was wrong, told her I refused to stay at the hotel. Her reply? "It hasn't charged your card yet, so you are all set to go." WHAT? TERRIBLE customer service! This place was soooo awful! Oh and the time we checked in? About 1:30 pm...and no rooms clean?????? Are you kidding me??

Overpriced and Merely Adequate
By Linda, 4/16/07
The two stars for this rating means - POOR. Our room had no hot water in the sink. If you wanted hot water to wash your hands, etc. you had to use the water in the bathtub. The doors, bathroom floor, and furniture were grimy. And there was a loud "Humming" noise coming from the refrigerator. In fairness to the hotel, the floor had new looking carpeting and the beds were clean and comfortable. AAA currently rates this Comfort Inn two diamonds. I used that rating as a guideline to book this hotel. I would downgrade that to no more than one diamond. The hotel is overpriced. I have stayed in nicer Comfort Inns for 2/3 the price. I complained to the front desk about no hot water in the sink about 9 p.m. After discussing the problem for over ten minutes with the front desk, their only remedy was to have a repairman come sometime the next morning. I then ask if there was another room. After a lengthy discussion about that solution, I was told there was another room, but it would be inconvenient for them and its location would be inconvenient for me. I then declined another room. The next morning at checkout, I found the person at the desk to be very defensive--only stating that we were offered another room. I wonder if they ever fixed the hot water in sink. Breakfast was just adequate to be called "The deluxe continental breakfast". The Internet was high speed but not wireless. I will certainly find a different hotel when I am traveling through this area again. LIM
