Comfort Inn and Suites Decatur, Decatur

Got info from housekeepers, this hotel washes all their cleaning rags that they clean their toilets with in the wash with hand towels wash clothes and towels together, I mean nasty people, they need to clean their act up, this is a health hazard.

We were traveling on our motorcycle when we had a tire problem. I was told by the tire company to go and stay at this hotel. They would take care of us. They had a special rate of $59.00 per night plus tax. When we arrived, we were told that the rate was $84.00 per night, weeknight rate. We were stranded so we stayed. After checking in, we walked across a Pilot Gas Station where we found a "Room Saver" book that had the hotel listed in there for $59.00 per night for the same time as we were staying. We got it over the hotel and showed them. They said no, problem, they would fix that. You see we had to spend two nights there. When we checked out, they had only fixed the second night not the first night. They said there was nothing they could do and nothing that I could do about it. So I am telling everyone, BE CAREFUL staying here, they will take advanage of you if they get the chance. Stay at any other hotel in town!

We went over the weekend only stayed one night, but I have been in many motels before this was excellent. Everything clean and everything it said it was on the internet. The snacks and breakfast was really great. I really enjoyed coming in and having coffee and cookies in the evening and they were very good. I will recommend any one going to Decatur, ala. This place was so clean. The people was very friendly and helpful.. I have stayed at Caesars Palace Vegas and this was place just as clean if not cleaner.
