Grand Candi Hotel, Semarang

I checked in at night on 31 May checked out on 3 June. Its acutally quite far away from everywhere. about 25 min away from the airport. I had a bad experience on the house keeping service. I ordered a Club Sandwich on the night i arrived. I didnt finished it all and had 3 pieces left to be preserved and decorated nicely on the plate for the next day( because it cost Rp 60,000 which was so expensive for semarang standard). The next afternoon i returned to my room after an outing and to my surprise the whole plate was gone. Cant the housekeeping see that i saved it for later?? it still had 3 big pieces left on it! And i had a missing $50,000 bill from my wallet which i left on the table. The hotels amenity was alright but the location from being far away from the city and dishonest house keeping, i wouldnt stay there in the future. I would recommend Hotel Ciputra or Novotel Semarang for the same hotel class. Check in name: Kenny Leo
