EXCELLENT DEAL

I read the review about the traveling group and thought it was funny. I think this place is an excellent deal. My friends and I have stayed here every year for Mardi Gras and the Essence Festivals since 1999 for two reasons. 1. It's only 15 minutes from the French Quarter 2. The price is EXCELLENT 3. The interior and exterior are definitely kept up, especially for a place that has to handle continual party crowds during those two festival times. Okay, that was three reasons...lol Long and short of it, if you don't mind a little bit a smoky scent in some of the rooms, you DEFINITELY get your money's worth at this place. Leave the kids at home. Comes highly recommended from me for the value. Shari R.

It's great if you like roaches

I was traveling with a group of youth and we needed a place to stay, near the airport, for one night before heading to Mississippi. This Motel 6 looked promising and there were no bad reviews, but when we go there, the entire building reeked of smoke and several roaches made their apperance in one of our rooms. Needless to say, very little sleep was had by anyone that night.
