The inn consists of 2 guest complexes situated on 15 heavily wooded and landscaped acres in a residential setting. The Agate apartment suites are ideal for families or groups desiring more space and privacy. The Agate guest house offers 3 large comfortable guest bedrooms, each with a private bath. Agate Inn also provides laundry facilities, phones, barbecue, and freezers.Visit with Harvey & Sandy Bowers, 25-year residents with a wealth of information to share on Alaska geology, climbing, hiking, skiing, fishing and more. Harvey is a retired geologist and has hiked and climbed throughout Alaska, including North America's highest peak - Mt. Mckinley. Sandy is a practicing certified public accountant in Wasilla.
