Mision del Sol Resort and Spa, Huitzilac

My husband and I went there for honeymoon. The place is incredible, the gardens, the pool, the rooms, the food. The service in the massage area is horrible, you expect to be treated like a queen having heard that it's the best place for massage. I reserved 3 massages, The first was excellent, the second, the masseuse was in a horrible mood, she didn't put music, nor towels and she was rude, instead of feeling relaxed I finished with a back ache. The third.....I cancelled it, I was so damn mad, it took one bad person to have a horrible experience. They should be more careful in who works there

I went to this spa for my birthday and it has to be the worst experience ever. I had been looking forward to a hot stone massage for ages. It was given to me by a practitioner who was ill ... she coughed and sniffed through the whole massage. The draping (coverage by sheets) was non existant and I was fully exposed. I myself am a massage practitioner and was horrified at my experience, I should have stopped the massage with in the first 10 minutes, but was so desperate for a massage, that I let her to it. I contacted the spa twice afterwards but never received an answer to my email or phone call. I would NEVER return. I would NEVER recommend this place to any one.

This place was the worst experience that I have ever had. The hot stone massage that I had was done by a person who was ill. She kept sniffing and coughing through the whole time, which was cut short. It was also inapropriate - the was absolutely no draping done. When we approached the spa for comment afterwards, no one returned the calls or emails. I didn't think that I would ever write a negative review, but it was a lot of money. And not worth one panny of it. A place to be avoided as they obviously do not have qualified people working there. There is suppose to be service from the Spa to the entrance, but we had to walk down.

The place is great, the service is great, the spa is great, the food is great, but it is very expensive, is one of Mexico�s best spas, if you can afford it.

Mision del Sol is a bastien of paradise. You are surrounded by gardens and water works. Everything is oriented towards rejuvenating the spirit. I would go back just for the food, remarkable. You know you are in the right place when most of the clientele is mexican. Cuernavaca is a big town south of Mexico City but cars stop at the front gate and the spa environment begins. Truly enjoyed every moment.

The place is marvelous. The weather is just perfect for me. I've been to many SPA's in Mexico and this is the best I've ever seen.
