Days Inn Battlefield Rd/Hwy 65, Springfield

As owner of the hotel, I would like to explain regarding the last commentor's unfortunate situation with their credit card charge. Unbeknowst to our business, the credit card processor delayed charging the guest credit card. When we were alerted to the problem, this particular card was declined when it was processed later. After several attempts over time, it finally cleared for payment. I did say how sorry we were and did feel bad that this occurred, however; it was a legitimate charge and collectable. Sometimes things are out of our control and we try to handle the best we can. I feel bad that we didn't meet the guest's expectations on this and apologize for that! My hope is that the guest would say that the stay was a good one while they were visiting in Springfield.

If you want to be charged for your stay 112 days later...stay here. I stayed here for a wedding that was in town on June 3rd and they never charged my account because their credit card transactions weren't going through. They decided to charge my account Sept 22nd without letting me know what was going on. The owner Craig said there was nothing he could do about it and didn't feel bad. He didn't offer anything for pretty much leaving me with $5 in my bank account out of nowhere. I was very frustrated and I think its rediculous that a hotel is even allowed to do this without letting me know ahead of time. It was very hard trying to get ahold of anyone when this did happen. So, like I said, if you want to be charged almost 4 months later...go ahead and stay here. I would not recommend it though.

Everyone was so friendly and made us feel welcome- the price was right also- a delicious breakfst was available- when we come back to Springfield we will defiently stay there again even if it is a distance to where we want to go.We have told our friends about it-

We were searching for a hotel that could accomodate our large family and unfortunately, they could not. However, the person on the phone went above and beyond for me and pulled out the phone book and gave me local phone numbers to other hotels in the area that might be able to help us. If this is any indication of the service they give their actual cusomers, I would be happy to give them my business!!!

I love staying at Days Inn. We had a couple of rooms and they made us feel right at home. The hotel manager even remembered my name the next morning..... Can you get any better sevice in Missouri????

Low prices, clean large rooms, and right off highway 65. This is an excellent pet-friendly hotel. The staff is very friendly and they have free breakfast.

We recently spent the weekend in Springfield shopping and stayed here. They have the nicest staff I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The rooms were super clean and comfortable. The night manager went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. I will never stay anywhere else!!!
