Days Inn Hotel NE Columbia Ft Jackson, Blythewood

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was very nice. The rooms were clean. It had a location that was convenient for my trip. The day old Krispy Kreme doughnuts were disgusting at the free breakfast.

Rooms have a distinct unpleasant smell. I rented several rooms for several nights and all problems exist with each room. Poor maid service. Items would not be restocked in room. Poor customer service. Lady at front desk was not the personable type. Of course this is the Days Inn, and you get what you pay for. The smell and poor maid service wern't so bad they couldn't be overlooked, it was the basic atmosphere at front dest that made me decide to change reservations to a different place. Just because of her, they lost close to 2500.00 in revenue. Is she worth that much to the owner?????
