Grand Regal Hotel, Davao

The Lifestyle is just different with other city we have in the philippines.There is something in Davao that you cant just leave..its the ambiance,safety,the discipline.The resorts are paradise and its cheaper to travel.I tell you when I reached the airport theres only one city that smells durian...why dont you check it by yourself?

It's my first trip to Davao City for an audit of a sister company and our group was booked here. One advantage that immediately showed up was its proximity to the plant we were auditing and the airport. Marco Polo was too far, a good 10-15 minutes drive further. Too bad we only stayed for only 14 hours due to the hectic schedule. Service was a bit monotonous, quite robotic if I may add. The room/accommodation was good, though the overall design is a bit bland need updating. Overall our "transient" stay in the hotel gave me more than I expected for a place outside of Manila, even better than some of the other hotels I've visited.

try mercure. its luxurious state of the art facilities spell what davao is. and for those who loves casinos, wow! u'll surely enjoy! rooms are great and services as well.

I like Mercure when we stay there! A Casino is just few steps away and the street is not that busy because it is not within downtown area.
